My family members are currently among those stranded in western NC (although they are safe), currently without power or running water. I was just there a week ago.
Absolutely tragic across the board here.
I made it out of Asheville. The entire area has no cell service, no power, no water, no sewer. I tried several times to make it off campus, but neighborhoods are blocked by power lines, trees, and flood waters. UNC Asheville has not been communicating well with students. #ncwx

At least 5 participants in a restoration ministry that operated out of FBC Woodstock under Johnny Hunt's leadership, called City of Refuge, were accused of sexual abuse.
This revelation and others emerged thanks to targeted questions from lawyers for the SBC and Guidepost.

North Carolina Republicans are bracing Thursday morning as word spreads about a damning news story looming regarding Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson.
Robinson is under pressure from staff and members of the Trump campaign to withdraw from the governor’s race due to the nature of the story, which they say involves activity on adult websites in 2000s.
Thursday evening is the deadline for Robinson to withdraw, but his name will remain on the ballot.
