EA employees are speaking out about mismanagement, GenAI push and BioWare’s closure🚀
✅Employees report that the "do less, better" mantra has simply resulted in handling the same workload with fewer staff.
✅Upper management is heavily promoting generative AI (specifically Claude), telling staff that adoption is mandatory for the future.
✅Workers believe the technology is being pushed to test how drastically EA can cut headcount while maintaining output.
BioWare’s Decline & Closure
✅BioWare was repeatedly forced to abandon its strengths (narrative choice, consequences, companions) to chase unprofitable live-service and multiplayer trends, wasting significant resources.
✅Studio leadership grew overly reliant on user experience research (UXR) and fear-driven decision-making, stifling creative risk-taking before the studio's closure.

Disappointed, but definitely not surprised. So much of what’s said reflects very much how many of us felt, as it was quite obvious for the last 10-15 years.
Risk-averse development, “do less” mentality, cost-cutting..etc.
I feel really bad for the studios and talents that had to be suffocated under EA’s mentality. It’s obvious what kind of people they were ever since they tried to gaslight gamers into thinking single player gaming to be dead.

WE HAD LIVES BEFORE GENERATIVE AI. COOL THINGS WERE MADE WITHOUT GENERATIVE AI FOR DECADES

I wouldn't call them "conventionally attractive" I think horikoshi just has an art style that makes every character pleasant to look at, even ones who are canonically unsettling like Shigaraki

She’s cooking for her friends and family; something that she’s never had but always wanted so personally I think she’s the happiest she’s ever been.

Y el momento ni siquiera es romántico, y la elige mostrar como ama de casa en vez de trabajando, lo que fácilmente pudo hacer, pero a Kubo no le interesó eso (quizá el anime lo cambie también) para que no se vea tan triste su final. 😅

I know the muscle girl stuff isn't what people are here for but for those who like it: thank you 🙇
The people who say “heroes at the end are glorified cops” didn’t get past season 2 I swear on everything. The story literally tells it to your face in episode 1. Then you see that same “glorified cop” get development and stay when it’s tough. Courtesy of Mt. Lady, No 3 Hero

TITE KUBO JUST SAID SOMETHING GENUINELY BEAUTIFUL ABOUT MANGA THAT MORE PEOPLE NEED TO HEAR 😭🔥
He explained that creators like Gege and Gotouge have told him BLEACH influenced them…
but he doesn’t see Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer as “copying” his work.
Because Kubo himself was inspired by Saint Seiya.
The Gold Saints left such a huge impression on him that you can see that DNA in the way the Gotei 13 Captains were structured.
"That's how creativity evolves. Each generation of creators absorbs ideas from the works they admire, reinterprets them through their own perspective, and transforms them into something entirely new. That's what influence has always been."

I’ve yet to see any of these sub eliteists articulate what about the dub is so bad or even what makes the sub so much better

Gin dedicated 100+ years of his life for her & she just learned that 2 years ago.
And it seems like they were always casually flirting during that time & before too. From being childhood sweethearts. Building expectations & dreams of an eventual future in her mind. It looked mutual.
Understandibly it's gonna take some time lol..

You can love your idol without hating others. You can support one without bringing someone else down.

They create wars that were never supposed to exist. They start fan wars, spread hate, and make the whole community look bad. And because of them, innocent fans get dragged, genuine friendships get ruined, and the artist ends up being the one who suffers the most.

But here's the truth, toxic fans don't protect the artist, they destroy the fandom.

Let's be honest, every fandom has a toxic side. There's always a group that thinks they own the artist, that thinks they can control who the artist should be with, work with, or talk to. They love to dictate, to bash,to drag other fans down just to make their favorite look better
