new @Polymarket category just dropped and it’s basically exchange listing betting Cambria, Extended, Umia etc. “listed on ___ within 30 days of TGE” at first glance it looks like pure gambling, but honestly this is one of the more interesting markets they’ve added in a while. because if you actually know the project, the ecosystem, who backed it, where the team is connected, what kind of launch they’re likely aiming for… you can start making pretty reasonable guesses on where the first listings happen. not saying it’s free, but this is not the same as clicking random sports outcomes and praying. you’re basically betting on crypto distribution routes. Cambria: polymarket.com/event/cambria… Extended: polymarket.com/event/extende… Umia: polymarket.com/event/umia-li… the detail people need to watch is the date and the 30 day window after TGE. that part matters a lot. also, there’s a slightly cursed angle here. this can become a pretty manipulative instrument for both founders and exchanges. imagine you’re a founder, your project has Polymarket listing markets live, and you know exactly what exchanges you’re talking to. you could delay a top exchange listing past the 30 day window, list tier 2/3 first, hedge or position through alt wallets, then go live on day 40 and technically the market resolves NO. not saying this is happening. but with markets like this, the first few resolved outcomes are going to be very important. Need to watch how clean the resolutions are, how teams behave around TGE, and whether this becomes actual alpha or just another PvP trap. still, I like the category. crypto people love pretending everything is “information markets” until the market is literally about launch strategy, investor networks, exchange relationships and who knows what before everyone else. this one is worth watching closely.

IT’S NOT GAMBLING IF YOU KNOW YOU’RE GONNA WIN. still grinding the @Polymarket airdrop and honestly this combo feels way cleaner than just randomly clicking markets for volume. World Cup Winner market has insane flow, deep books, and actual organic activity - which means you can farm maker/taker rebates + wVOL without doing the 99.9% fake-volume NPC loop. My current setup is pretty simple: sit close to the book buy slightly below market list back into liquidity collect spread when it hits stack rebates + wVOL on top Example: buy Norway YES at 2.5c sell / list at 2.6c If it fills, you get the spread. If you’re providing liquidity, you’re touching maker side. If you’re taking fills, taker side gets activity too. And unlike dead markets, this one actually moves. Obviously not free money. Price can get pushed down, fills can be weird, and if you oversize you can get stuck holding a bag you didn’t plan to hold. Been farming TAKER + MAKER rebates and wVOL on Polymarket at a stupid pace lately. The market I’m using is World Cup Winner: polymarket.com/event/world-c… Nominal volume there is already around $2B, and the closer we get to the tournament, the more active the book gets. More flow = more chances to farm rebates, build real wVOL, and sometimes catch spread on top. Don’t get scared by the deep orderbook btw. On markets like this, size actually helps. You can sit with limit orders slightly below market, provide liquidity, get filled, then recycle the position back into the book. Example from what I’m doing: Bought Norway YES at 2.6c → listed it back for 2.6c. Looks like 0 profit at first glance, but the rebate already makes the trade positive. And when the spread gives you room, it gets even better: buy 2.5c sell 2.6c spread + rebates + wVOL. That’s the whole game. And this is the important part: this is not empty 99.9% volume farming. This is actual weighted volume on a liquid market with real activity. You’re building wVOL, touching maker/taker buckets, and still giving yourself a shot to make money from the spread instead of just burning fees like an NPC. Obviously don’t be stupid with size. Price can move against you, the book can get thinner, and “free money” doesn’t exist. Adjust position size to your capital and risk tolerance. But if you’re farming Polymarket and ignoring these big liquid sports markets, idk man. Feels like one of the cleaner ways to stack activity before TGE. DYOR, manage risk, farm smart.
