I’m really not North Korean. Lately, every time I get on a call with friends overseas, I end up proving I’m not North Korean. I know people are pretty worried because of the recent hacks, so I’m happy to tell them I’m not. I served two years as an artillery officer in the Republic of Korea Marine Corps, stationed on the island closest to the North Korean military. That red name tag isn't North Korean. It's the symbol of the Republic of Korea Marine Corps. More recently, I went to the National Assembly of Korea and held a press conference on deferring crypto taxation. It aired on KBS 9 O’Clock News, the flagship news program of Korea’s largest public broadcaster (under the Korean government), and the footage is still up on their official YouTube channel. : youtube.com/watch?v=njyujQV0… Every time someone asks me if I’m North Korean, it’s funny but also a little sad. Bonkguy once said: “I won't belong to any community, and I'll sell whenever I want to.” And he's got a point. At the end of the day, we're all human. Once you get too attached to a community, emotions and loyalty can cloud your judgment. You end up missing the right time to take profits or cut losses. Doesn't matter if it's MONAD or BACKPACK. OG or newcomer, people buy and people sell. Just because you've been around since day one doesn't mean you have to hold forever. And selling doesn't erase everything you've believed in or contributed to. At the end of the day, this is an investment. Everyone has the right to buy or sell whenever they want. That's their call. Loving a community and making investment decisions are two different things.
