Why is the cost of USDC Hypercore borrowing suddenly 19.97% ? This was locked at 5% for the longest time
👀
PAXGy (28 Jan 2027 maturity), @paxoslabs’, gold-backed digital asset that grows in gold terms, is now live on Pendle.
Trade, speculate and fix RWA investment-grade gold yield onchain.
Plan to escape the permanent underclass:
Salary @paxoslabs -> stocks @RobinhoodApp and $HYPE @HyperliquidX .
Borrow against portfolio (and my ETH on @aave).
Put all of that into @re on @pendle_fi for double digit yield
Shrimple really 🍷
Reading this article: lesswrong.com/posts/ZHC6g5Bi… (good btw)
he says: "Imagine being a military forecaster in 1900, trying to predict what the most consequential technologies of the next 50 years would be..Getting the answer right and predicting nuclear weapons would be impossible"
Multiple sources have confirmed that China is making progress on a frutiger aero aesthetic.
Western leaders stand in shock.
Activision announces Call of Duty Black Ops 8.
You play as a Coloumbian in a Mexican cartel. Fighting for Ukraine against North Koreans
Idk how likely this is exactly but imagine like a David Goggins type figure in the future but for like doing math problems. Or future Zyzz hardstyle edits but for someone writing a short essay by hand
People clown on this all the time but the right curve is genuinely just leave laptop cracked for claude.
This is necessary maybe 2x a month for a few minutes. Its way easier to leave the laptop cracked than setup and maintain a persistent remote machine
Are you really holding gold in your portfolio without earning yield???
Gold lending has been quoted every working day for fifty years, yet is still closed to almost everyone who owns the asset.
Institutional minimums, bullion bank relationships, settlement infrastructure.
PAXGy changes that.
Live today on @okx and onchain on @Uniswap, @XLayerOfficial, @0xProject, @ether_fi, powered by @chainlink CCIP.

Why was this Tweet written like a letter from a Civil war general?
“Everywhere in this town you see the same kind of character—Westerners who have been so ill-treated and badly worn by life that they’ve dropped the whole struggle and decided to camp out here in Bali indefinitely, where they can live in a gorgeous house for $200 a month, perhaps taking a young Balinese man or woman as a companion, where they can drink before noon without getting any static about it, where they can make a bit of money exporting a bit of furniture for somebody. But generally, all they are doing here is seeing to it that nothing serious will ever be asked of them again. These are not bums, mind you. This is a very high grade of people, multinational, talented and clever. But it seems to me that everyone I meet here used to be something once (generally “married” or “employed”); now they are all united by the absence of the one thing they seem to have surrendered completely and forever: ambition. Needless to say, there’s a lot of drinking.”
Won't take clock slander it's honestly brilliant.
60 is divisible by 2,3,5,15,30 just to name the useful ones we use all the time.
There's no sense in making a clock include all 24 hours because it's pretty obvious if you're on the day or night one just by looking outside
I took AP Stats in HS instead of Calc and while Calc in university actually unlocked a love for math I did not have before, stats remains massively practical and sharpened my intuitions a lot.
Replying to @kamilkazani
I would heavily cut down trigonometry and replace it with something that gives starter intuitions around linearity vs nonlinearity, high-dimensionality, reasoning about systems and phenomena by making tiny perturbations to them
I guess that means basic calculus, at least a little bit multi-variable
It's a road into AI, economics, cryptography, biomedical science, all kinds of areas, but also not overfit to any single one
Meanwhile I don't think I've ever used tan(2x) = 2*tan(x) / 1-tan^2(x) in real life, not even metaphorically
