The problem with Flock isn't the cameras. It's that those cameras run on proprietary, centralized networks. Whenever access is being gatekept the potential for abuse exists. The answer (as it's so often is) is decentralized and open networks.

I need to ask for help this last year I've been dealing with defending against a $100k civil lawsuit from a former colleague in a failed project on top of the personal funds I lost in that project, I've been having to pay increasing legal fees to defend myself and my reputation. I'm in the hole tens of thousands of dollars because of this project, and the costs are continuing to add up to the point where I need to ask for help funding this battle i've set up fundraisers linked below, and am also taking crypto donations any amount helps, and if you can't donate please help by sharing crowdfund.seedclub.com/c/cmh… givesendgo.com/jon-legal-fun…

AI models trained on data sets with missing information being used to retroactively add said missing information what could go wrong
We will use Grok 3.5 (maybe we should call it 4), which has advanced reasoning, to rewrite the entire corpus of human knowledge, adding missing information and deleting errors. Then retrain on that. Far too much garbage in any foundation model trained on uncorrected data.

If data is accessible via a "public URL", but that URL contains an identifier that's more unique than UUID, is it really public?

I have had this thesis for the last 10 years. That is why I spent the last 7 years figuring out how to scale PoW. The solution is a hierarchy of merged mined chains. Think of the original ETH 2.0 with a beacon chain and shards but it is PoW. Each miner chooses a shard to mine. When they find a super block it becomes a block in the beacon chain. The super blocks allows trustless state transfer between shards. The next thing you need is to modify HCR to be causally invariant which is accomplished with Proof-of-Entropy-Minima (PoEM). This not only creates a system that can have decentralization better than Bitcoin and >50k+ TPS, it also makes a system that operates analogous to Stephen Wolfram’s fundamental theory of physics. It’s called @QuaiNetwork

heads up if you're using @GeminiApp for writing code, there seems to be a bug where it cannot produce outputs that contain a number surrounded by angle brackets, like `<100>` 🧵

came across this weird bug in Gemini last night when generating ZMK keybindings and noticed that it was stripping out all of the timeouts on the keys so tapping-term-ms = <100>; would become tapping-term-ms = ; I asked it only make changes that I asked for, and showed it the diff with the mistake

it correctly writes the values in it's thinking process, but the output is missing in the response I thought it was just 2.5 Pro advanced acting up, but I wasn't able to get any Gemini model to output this pattern so just a heads up when using Gemini if you have any code that uses that pattern

I invented a new technique for Cursor. Using this, I reduced AI hallucinations and assumptions by 85%. I am calling it “knowledge base” technique. Here’s how it works: ↓
