How Shame Gets in the Way of Anxiety Recovery buff.ly/G14AvCh
Research indicates that shame and guilt are strongly associated with anxiety disorders. Shame impedes the recovery process and keeps anxious individuals from coping adaptively. A general reframing of anxiety as part of the human experience can help change the shame narrative.

SAVORY GOLDEN PORK FRIED RICE WITH VEGETABLES & SUNNY-SIDE-UP EGGS. 🥩🍳🍚🥢
"Every bite is a little taste of happiness"
Serves: 3–4
Ingredients
For the fried rice:
3 cups cooked and chilled rice (preferably day-old)
300 g pork, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small carrot, diced
½ red bell pepper, diced
½ cup green peas
½ cup mushrooms, sliced
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2–3 spring onions, chopped
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp sesame oil
For the savory sauce:
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp dark soy sauce
½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
½ tsp sugar
½ tsp chili flakes
For the topping:
3–4 eggs
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Sesame seeds
Chopped spring onions
A pinch of black pepper
Instructions
1. Prepare the pork:
Cut the pork into small bite-sized pieces. Season with a little salt, black pepper, and 1 teaspoon of soy sauce.
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large wok or frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the pork and cook until golden brown on the outside and thoroughly cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
2. Prepare the sauce:
In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, black pepper, sugar, and chili flakes. Mix well and set aside.
3. Sauté the vegetables:
Add another tablespoon of oil to the same pan. Add the chopped onion and garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Add the diced carrots, bell pepper, mushrooms, and green peas. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still slightly crisp.
4. Scramble the eggs:
Push the vegetables to one side of the pan. Pour in the 2 beaten eggs and scramble gently until just cooked.
5. Add the rice:
Add the chilled rice to the pan. Break up any clumps with a spatula and toss everything together.
Return the cooked pork to the pan and mix well with the rice and vegetables.
6. Add the savory sauce:
Pour the prepared sauce evenly over the rice. Toss and stir-fry over high heat for 3–5 minutes, allowing the rice to absorb the savory flavors.
Drizzle with sesame oil and add the chopped spring onions. Toss once more and taste. Adjust the seasoning if needed.
7. Fry the sunny-side-up eggs:
Heat a little oil in a separate nonstick pan over medium-low heat.
Crack the eggs into the pan and cook until the whites are set and the edges are lightly golden, while keeping the yolks soft and runny if desired.
Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
8. Assemble and serve:
Transfer the golden pork fried rice to a serving plate.
Arrange the sunny-side-up eggs on top. Garnish generously with chopped spring onions and sesame seeds.
Serve immediately while hot, with the delicious golden egg yolks ready to mingle with the savory fried rice!
Tips:
*Day-old chilled rice gives the best fried rice texture and prevents it from becoming mushy.
*Cook the pork until beautifully browned for extra flavor.
*Use high heat when stir-frying to achieve that delicious smoky, restaurant-style taste.
*Add a little chili oil or freshly sliced chili for a spicy kick.
*For extra richness, drizzle a few drops of sesame oil just before serving.
Enjoy!🥩🍳🍚🥢

SIZZLING HERB-GARLIC STEAK CHUNKS WITH PARMESAN DIPPING CREAM 🥩🧄🧈🧀
"Irresistible Meal For Steak Lovers"
Serves 3–4
Ingredients
For the steak bites:
700 g beef steak (sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin)
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp olive oil
5 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp dried thyme
½ tsp dried rosemary
½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
¾ tsp salt, or to taste
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
For the Parmesan dipping cream:
1 tbsp unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
¼ tsp black pepper
A pinch of salt, to taste
½ tsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
1. Prepare the steak:
Pat the steak dry with paper towels and cut it into evenly sized, bite-sized chunks.
Season with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, thyme, and rosemary. Toss well to coat every piece.
2. Sear the steak:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Once the skillet is hot, arrange the steak chunks in a single layer, leaving space between them. Cook in batches if necessary.
Sear for approximately 2–3 minutes per side, depending on the size of the chunks and your preferred doneness.
Allow the steak to develop a beautiful golden-brown crust before turning.
3. Make the garlic butter:
Reduce the heat to medium-low.
Add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir gently, allowing the butter to melt and the garlic to become fragrant.
Toss the steak bites in the garlic butter for another 1–2 minutes, spooning the buttery mixture over the meat.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.
4. Prepare the Parmesan dipping cream:
In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and stir gently.
Add Italian seasoning, black pepper, and a small pinch of salt.
Allow the cream to simmer gently for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Do not let it boil vigorously.
5. Add the Parmesan cheese:
Reduce the heat to low.
Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until it melts into the cream.
Continue stirring until the sauce becomes smooth, rich, and velvety.
If the sauce becomes too thick, add a little warm cream or milk to achieve your desired consistency.
Finish with freshly chopped parsley.
6. Serve and enjoy:
Arrange the sizzling herb-garlic steak chunks on a serving platter.
Pour the Parmesan dipping cream into a small bowl and place it alongside the steak.
Garnish with extra parsley and a light sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
Serve immediately while the steak is warm, juicy, and the dipping cream is beautifully smooth.
Serving Suggestions:
Enjoy with:
*Creamy mashed potatoes
*Crispy roasted potatoes
*Garlic bread
*Steamed broccoli
*Roasted vegetables
*Buttered pasta
Enjoy! 🥩🧄🧈🧀
