A Utah woman peacefully protesting the Utah County Planning Commission’s approval of a data center ordinance was violently slammed to the ground by a sheriff’s officer. The state is always violent whether we are peaceful or not. This is not democracy. This is a dictatorship of capital.

I was once brutally handcuffed by a pig police after I called them because my drunk ex bit down on my thumb to the bone and shook his head, my hand was bleeding badly, I was in so much pain and the fucking pig cop arrested me for what I learned later was a 'deterrent to going back to the abuser'.
I was not treated in jail and I stayed over the fucking weekend with my thumb wrapped in toilet paper.
There were inmates that told me this shit happens all the time with abused women and gave me whatever to help numb the pain, cleaned my thumb for me and pretty much protected me in there.
I went immediately to the er after the judge threw the case out and the staff there got very uncomfortable with my reason of why I did not seek medical help immediately and did not write it in the paperwork they gave me.
My abuser was never arrested but was warned to stay away from me by the same useless fucking pigs. I hate the fucking police so much
FUCK THE POLICE BRUTALITY
FUCK THE POLICE
FUCK THEIR IMMUNITY
FUCK THEIR RAISES
FUCK THE POLICE
Police body slam 100lb woman to floor—now hospitalized with concussion.
For peacefully protesting data center.
"That man could have killed me," she said.
"Somehow I only ended up with a concussion—severe bruising on my jaw, knee, and shoulder."
Her crime? Saying "shame" after the Utah County Planning Commission meeting voted to approve a data center ordinance.
(see video in thread)

The people who were meant to protect you and your rights have become thugs for their corporate overlords.
This pussy needs to be thrown in prison.

Everybody needs to blow this post up because that sheriff's deputy needs to be prosecuted for brutal assault and battery on a woman. What a fricking roided up piece of trash. Unbelievable what cops think they can get away with these days.

The French protests are only happening because of immigration.
Before immigration the French were peaceful people that never once violently opposed their government.

TODAY TENS OF THOUSANDS OF STUDENTS AND PARENTS ON THE STREETS OF ATHENS!
Across Europe, young people are rebelling against a system that offers them no future….
Endless wars, growing inequality, and billionaires extracting more and more of the world’s wealth while ordinary people struggle to survive.

Greece has joined the European protests in France, Spain, Italy and Albania.
We are sick and tired of billionaires and their blatant theft.

If it keeps going at this rate, we might, for (I think) the first time in history, be about to witness the first continent-wide youth revolt in Europe - a "European spring" of sorts.
The sheer number of countries where it's **already** happening is pretty overwhelming. I count 8, including 4 with violent clashes:
- France, famously
- Albania (see below) with daily clashes in Tirana and a government building set alight
- Belgium: the French movement spilled over, including riots in Liège
- Italy: "No Meloni Day" student protests since 16 October, turning into riots in Milan, Turin and Bologna
- Greece: students camping in Athens' Syntagma Square over housing and education costs, explicitly inspired by France
- Germany: pupils blockading schools in Berlin and Hamburg in solidarity with France
- Spain: an indefinite education strike in Madrid, with students marching alongside teachers and families
- Serbia: the student movement born from the 2024 Novi Sad station collapse is now running its own list in the 25 October election
And, by the way, the fact it's also happening in countries with close to no immigration - like Albania - goes to show how reductive it is to label these movements, like JD Vance and Trump did with France, as the fruit of "the migrants hav[ing] taken over."
As is often the case, it's much more a story of "it's the economy, stupid." As such, Trump with his war on Iran, has ironically done much more to fuel this (pun intended) than any migrant.

Americans found out their elites are eating children and did nothing about it and are now watching the French burn down their establishment for far less.

Anyone who tells you the French riots aren’t organic, justified, and proportional to French corruption has failed the first test. We shouldn’t take their analysis seriously because they don’t actual want change.
