I reckon we need to design new trust protocols based on human networks, otherwise we are not going to survive the sloppocalypse. Platforms before current AI capability were already fragmenting reality. It's going to get much worse. We can't even ship bullshit detector overlays to common hardware due to gatekeeping of hardware providers and their legally bound incentives to not improve things as it destroys revenue streams. I kinda reckon we're in for some wild shit. It wouldn't surprise me if we segment the internet based on types of classification. We are globally connected and also disconnected, but who decides?
