Ambassador Jilan Wahba Abdalmajid wishes to extend her deepest condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of Irish Olympic runner Ciara Mageean, who sadly lost her battle with cancer over the weekend. Ciara was a beloved sporting hero, an exceptional athlete, and an inspiration to many. She also used her platform on many occasions to speak out in support of Palestine, showing her courage and compassion. We join those across Ireland in mourning her loss and remembering her life and legacy. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.
