Thank you, Emmanuel, for your condolences. Unfortunately, the death toll from the Russian strike on a commuter train in Dnipro has already risen to 14. And just a few hours ago, the Russians struck a residential neighborhood in Chernihiv with a drone and killed two girls. They were only 15 years old. In Kremenchuk, a Russian “shahed” struck an apartment building. Tragically, three people were killed. My condolences to all those who lost their loved ones. In these three attacks alone, 56 people have been reported injured, including 10 children.
These are deliberate strikes against civilians, brazen in their cruelty, and the Russians are carrying them out right as the humanitarian operation in Oleshky is unfolding. Russia’s signals are clear – they want the war to continue, and everyone around the world must still work very hard to achieve major de-escalation through strong steps and appropriate pressure on the aggressor.
Peace is needed – and for that to happen, Russia must end its war and terror.

A strike hit the railway station in Dnipro: a UAV struck the platform where a Ukrainian Railways train was located.
As a result of the attack, 13 people were killed and at least five were injured. Emergency and medical services are working at the scene, and the victims are receiving all necessary assistance.

The Oleshky ceasefire is another trap imposed on Ukraine by its russian-American “friends.”
Here’s what raises serious questions:
1. An information blackout. Only Newsmax, a pro-Trump, MAGA-aligned media network, is reportedly allowed on the ground. Ukrainian and independent international journalists have been denied access. Why?
2. Who is overseeing the evacuation on the US side? Mark Beckman, Melania Trump’s private adviser and producer of her film Melania. His professional background is in marketing and entertainment. Why him?
3. russia is using the pause to strengthen its positions. Ukrainian military sources report that building materials, ammunition and military supplies are being delivered to russian forward positions on the left bank of the Kherson region. There are reports that russia is preparing assault operations for November.
4. And where are the people being taken? Oleshky residents are reportedly being evacuated to russia, not to Ukrainian-controlled territory.
This is being presented as a humanitarian operation. But when journalists are denied access, russia gets an opportunity to strengthen its positions, and Ukrainian civilians are taken to the occupying country, one question demands an answer:
Whose interests does this “ceasefire” actually serve?
Ukraine must not be forced to sacrifice its citizens’ safety for someone else’s political show. Humanitarian aid must never become a cover for entrenching an occupation.

In late October 1937, during Stalin’s Great Terror, Soviet authorities began mass executions at Sandarmokh.
Between October 27 and November 4, 1,111 prisoners were executed there, including 287 Ukrainians and people connected to Ukraine.

Today, the UK government announced the allocation of an additional £10 billion in aid to Ukraine.
This British assistance does not simply help Ukraine continue its fight. It is an impulse of resilience at a time when the enemy is trying to force Ukraine to capitulate through terror against peaceful cities. This is support that truly saves Ukrainian lives.

According to the Financial Times, the oligarch was Umar Kremlev, a russian businessman with ties to Putin’s security circle. He flew to Mongolia from Kazakhstan on a charter jet, accompanied by a business partner linked to a US-sanctioned investment fund. The two reportedly avoided being photographed together.

The number of people injured in the Russian strike on a university campus and the surrounding area yesterday evening has risen to 12. Five of them are students and university staff. While emergency services were helping people and dealing with the aftermath of the first strike, the Russians used ballistic missiles again. In total, 16 ballistic missiles were launched overnight. More than 280 drones as well. Tragically, there have been casualties and hits in Kyiv, including on the South Bridge. A serious escalation in Russia’s operation against our logistics. There were also strikes on the Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Odesa, Chernihiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Kherson, and Chernivtsi regions. Almost everywhere, Russia’s targets were the energy sector, logistics, and ordinary urban infrastructure.
The artificial and prolonged delays in the delivery of interceptor packages for Patriot and NASAMS systems, which unfortunately have occurred recently, are directly helping Russia achieve the objectives of its terrorist campaign. Every such delay means another Russian strike on one facility or another. Unfortunately, strikes are taking place every day. Russia is constantly taking new steps toward escalation. Pressure on Russia and real support for Ukraine are needed to change the situation.
