John Wall says Jaylen Brown was playing at an MVP level, and not being introduced last in the starting lineup when Jayson Tatum returned was a trigger point.
“Everybody thought Boston was going to be on a rebuild last year, and the way Jaylen Brown played got them there. Now Tatum comes back, and it’s like, ‘Okay, Tatum’s playing well, but he’s not playing at his All-Star level, MVP level.’
So now, is Jaylen Brown taking a back seat? Like, even he said, the first game when Tatum came back, Jaylen Brown was getting called out last every game of the season. Now Tatum’s back, he goes back to second to last.

Like, he could just make stuff up. But my understanding is Jaylen Brown went to the organization and had a list of demands. And it was like, ‘You either do this or you trade me.’

It is kinda nuts that ppl want Jaylen Brown to respond positively to a team he recently won FMVP for thinking so lowly of him that after having his name in trade rumors for years, they finally pulled the trigger to send him to a division rival. Lol like you can’t complain about athletes being “too friendly” and ignore the obvious reason he has issues with Tatum..
