It blows my mind to read so many positive takes about Georgia's "economic development" policy that looks at recruitment "successes" without accounting for the costs. That's not how economists assess economic outcomes, and development incentives generally have negative ROI.

2.1 million people have voted early in Georgia. That is 28.3% turnout. So let’s ask the question, have you voted?

We are facing a crisis of impunity. That's why we built The Rule of Law Project — to investigate unlawful conduct by federal officials, and work with state and local prosecutors to hold them to account.

Was it @ScottHiltonGA or @DolezalForGA?
So @ScottHiltonGA gets to hide assets in a trust to access Medicaid, but working-class Georgians are cut off by income asset limits? The hypocrisy is staggering. xitter.cf/auforga/status/2115235…
If only we all had the money to set up a trust to hide assets so our child qualifies for Medicaid. Way to game the system, @ScottHiltonGA. Frontline Policy Fan Hilton does not work for Georgians.
TANF is a program for impoverished families for which we were working on updating the guidelines.
Remembering when Scott Hilton casually said these families should hire a lawyer and hide their assets in a trust like he does to qualify for Medicaid.

Currently to qualify for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), recipients must have assets < $1,000.
One lawmaker asked whether TANF families could just “funnel everything into a trust” like he does.
My dude, the point of #HB500 is that TANF families DON’T HAVE MONEY.

He’s scheming to export American diesel, which would drive up gas prices as Georgians already feel pain at the pump. #gapol

Hilton has a record of attacking kids in Georgia, placing their health care decisions in the hands of politicians instead of parents. His support of SB140 strips parental rights and puts the government in charge of private health decisions.

YOU + these Rs stripped parental rights from Georgians!
You + @ADFLegal wrote and lobbied — **illegally, no less, since no one was registered**— for SB140, placing Govt in charge of health decisions for GA children, instead of parents + providers.
