Replying to @NZMorningReport
@NZMorningReport please ask some tough questions of the new Minister who has no idea, just ideology and vindictiveness. What will happen to the new unified nursing curriculum across Te Pukenga? Or IT?Going back to competition and fragmentation will be a disaster for polytechs.

“We didn’t ask for Te Pūkenga to be established, and we often disagreed with the direction it was going in and the adequacy of its resourcing, but at least there was a vision behind it. What is Penny Simmonds’ vision for the sector?” - @GreyNZ

What are we going to call KiwiBank now Māori names are banned? Bank of New Zealand? Sorry, Australians own that; the National Party let it be sold to NAB during their horrific 1990s reign.

I can’t get over how weak Christopher Luxon is. Most NZers are centre right or centre left, but he’s such an empty suit he’s let these 2 blokes who represent FA people in this country own him completely. – at Auckland, New Zealand

This message was written by a Palestinian to a Jewish friend. Then that Jewish friend passed it on to Palestinians friends. I don't know the person who originally wrote it. And now I'm passing it on to you. As the rhetoric becomes genocidal, root yourself in humanity. Pass it on.

My kids went to vote and were behind this ruddy faced old dude with a big gut.
The voting lady asked how he was.
‘Bloody great, can’t wait to get rid of this bloody useless mob’ he sneered.
My kids laughed that their three votes nullified his.
Get your kids voting.

Speaking to my mum last night. She’s 83. This is her certificate of citizenship. She scrubbed floors and worked stations for no wage: just room and board. All for a better life for us kids
She walks around the Pilbara with her Yes shirt. Not one of her non Indigenous “friends” are voting yes. When they ask her why-she says this:
“Our entire lives all we have heard is “no”
Before I die; I want to hear Yes.
It means that much-and I cannot argue with that ❤️🖤💛

Love how this article about the guy trespassed for entering the home of Hana-Rawhiti Maipi-Clarke features the line "[Graham] Gunn, or Gunny to his mates" and then calls him Gunny throughout. Like we're all his mates.

He leaves, she says 'Kia pai tōu rā'
