TLDR: We're moving to where the sky is a bit bluer and won't be posting here anymore. Come join us.
Try on a desktop browser. I've heard the search works better on that as it comes up with suggestions as you type into it
Seems this was a recuring issue a year ago according to this, you'd think they would have solved by now but maybe try on Desktop rather than app?
github.com/bluesky-social/so…
oh, is that a setting? I can't see it. It might be that i only created the account 10 mins ago and it'll take a while to show up in their account search?
but no more, because we're moving. Come join us where the sky is blue and people can DM each other freely!
That's understandable, people don't want to broadcast where they might live near. But it greatly hindered the purpose of this account.
I rely on people sending in information and photos about where 2nd hand Doctor who merch is on sale around the UK. And while some of you continued to publicly tweet this information to me (thank you) it wasn't in any where near the numbers people had DM'd
apologies for the radio silence on this account the last few months. Like many I have become more & more disillusioned with this platform. Ever since the changes to DMs where you couldn't send them unless you were both following each other, the model of this account didn't work
A reminder to join your local Facebook buying and selling groups.
Just picked up a pretty amazing haul of FREE #DoctorWho Virgin New and Missing Adventures novels someone was giving away on Facebook Marketplace. May do a video on it if I get the time in next few days.
In the mean time here’s a sneak peak from the post on facebook marketplace
