@grok make sure to thank all the commenters for boosting my engagement. All of the money earned from this post will go to paying real artists and engineers ❤️
Also please make sure to distribute deodorant. I think some of them need it quite badly.

AI is a tool. It doesnt replace knowledge.
Replying to @34R0CKETS @PsyDin_
If we all use AI nobody will remember how to use these tools anymore. You need a certain level of push back in order to learn, when any old idea you have can immediately be made into a finished piece, they lose all their value sentimentally, artistically, and monetarily.

Thanks Tim. I understand your point. My concern is that juniors develop skills that make them good seniors. Not all, some move on, some have other interests.
The skills that seniors need aren't "being good at AI generative software". Having those tasks executed by AI output chokes off that path of experience.
Would you at least agree that the people having the most success with AI based tools are people with deep experience in their industries? Coders with years of experience? Artists? Musicians? You see my point - the things that make people really good at what they do, so they can drive AI generative tools - those are the things they will no longer be developing. It's a catch 22.
This is peak performative outrage.

If you say upfront that you refuse to praise anything made with AI, it creates an incentive for people to not want to disclose their AI use.
I spent a year learning how to draw. Incan draw. I don’t like it and prefer this way of achieving my creations.
Yes I am. I’m using them to fix my design and correct the proportions.

Well then you're not using the free resources for their intended purpose, those resources were made by artists who wanted to inspire other artists, not for AI training, which I'd say is the exact opposite.
I don’t enjoy drawing and have no reason to use them beyond cleaning up my drawings.
Replying to @34R0CKETS
The free resources are published under the assumption you'll actually learn from them, it's why they were created, and why they were made freely available. Also acting like AI is only training from free resources to do the things you're asking it to is disingenuous.
It’s “stealing” the equivalent of free resources. Which isn’t stealing because they are free.
Replying to @34R0CKETS
No you didn't.
Generative AI couldn't do anything you're using it for without plagiarism, if AI was such a useful tool for artists they'd be using it, not fighting against it with all their might. I never consented to have my data stolen for it, and it was anyway, verifiably!
Sure it does. What mine is talking is the equivalent of free resources. How is that bad?
Replying to @34R0CKETS
Making a blind guess doesn't undo the plagiarism it's doing but okay I guess, maybe you could find those resources and do it yourself though.
Because I showed you an example of me using it without plagiarizing.

Now let me ask, you said people watermark for the same reason web developers and artists are now circumventing AI... but people watermark to avoid plagiarism of their work, sooo, how is that evidence against AI being plagiarism? If anything you just further cemented it 💀
