"Instead of accepting that there is a real need to ensure that people can get to the UK, the government ...pursues ever-more draconian proposals like illegal pushbacks at sea and even higher fences." our CEO @minnierahman
We need safe routes now.

Heart-breaking news. How many tragedies like this must we see before the Government fundamentally changes its approach by committing to an ambitious expansion of safe routes for those men, women and children in desperate need of protection?

Wow such a wonderful evening! Thanks so much Bearwood (and beyond) for coming along to our Procession Of Light and showing that refugees are welcome here. And thanks to speakers @CllrBostan, Nicky Hincliff and Lucy from @Brushstrokes66 and all our volunteers.

The wait is over. It's #WorldRefugeeDay!
Fighting a pandemic or helping communities, refugees have been there every step of the way.

We face a once-in-a-generation roll back on the right to seek safety.
The UK government plans to penalise people who are forced to take unofficial routes to the UK - preventing them from rebuilding their lives in safety.
