Unfortunately, Kon Knueppel took one three pointer, missed it, and reinjured his hamstring. As a result, he was not able to catch Stephen Curry in career three pointers made.
Tonight the chase continues…

Career regular-season three-pointers:
Steph Curry: 4,270

Curry made 8 last night. Kon remained out with an injury.
The gap is now 3,997. We will continue monitoring.
Breaking news. Last night, Kon did not catch Steph. He remains out with an ankle injury. Meanwhile, Curry went 3-3.
Kon Knueppel still needs at least 3975 three pointers to catch up to Stephen Curry. Given that Knueppel is injured and Curry expects to play, Kon might even fall farther behind tonight, but we’ll see.
Stephen Curry also finished 2nd in Rookie of the Year voting in 2010. Kon has now caught Steph in number of 2nd place ROY votes.
Both Kon and Steph will be in action for the play-in tournament tonight and tomorrow respectively. Unfortunately, their three pointers made will not be part of either their career or playoff stats, thus these games will not help Kon catch Steph.
Not yet. Stephen Curry finished the season with 4248 three pointers made for his career. Kon finished his rookie campaign with 273 three pointers made. Tune in next season!
