If it's performance driven video generation that works this well, isn't that an even more useful tool?
Additionally, if the model has been trained on their own green screen studio footage doesn't that make it more acceptable to use?

James Cameron says an opportunity with AI-generated videos is to make more blockbuster films by cutting “in half” the cost of computer-generated graphics.
Cost-saving isn’t about “laying off VFX staff” but about “doubling their speed to completion on a given shot.”
With AI integrated into VFX workflows, Cameron told Meta’s CTO Andrew Bosworth in April 2025 that the “cadence [can be] faster and your throughput cycle is faster and artists get to move on and do other cool things.”
Cameron joined the board of Stability AI to learn new generative AI tools and figure out how Hollywood can adopt the technology (he obviosuly previously pioneered VFX with The Abyss, Terminator, Avatar and Leo’s art book in Titanic).

Social media is a failed project. In a few years it'll just be AI content farms feeding slop short form videos to AI fake accounts. And the ad revenue and compute costs that this involves will be a tax we humans pay to keep the monsters bottled up in that realm.

Disney and ABC will bring the comedian back to its schedule starting Tuesday night. “Last Wednesday, we made the decision to suspend production on the show to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country. It is a decision we made because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive, “the company said in a statement. “We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday.”
