The League Management Committee hopes everyone involved with our clubs is and remains safe and well. Mindful of the challenges you will be facing - and we hope your players continue to be supportive at this time - the following Funding Relief Package for Clubs has been agreed -

The League is attempting to put a package together to assist our clubs for the coming season 20/21 As you'll know we don't run the league for profit, so have to box clever with the means at our disposal. But bear with us, we're on it 👍⚽️

If you fancy getting involved - and bear in mind you are allowed to just get involved and get a feel for things without being given a job - please get in touch with League Secretary Peter Duffy [email protected] . The smallest assistance from someone new would really help.

The LAL League Management Committee are looking for volunteers to join us - as always we are looking for a variety of ages, backgrounds, clubs, officials and ex-officials but all of whom have a love of the game and want to give a bit back so others can enjoy what we all enjoy.

This new fund aims to help community sport organisations who are experiencing short term financial hardship or the ceasing of operations due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis. THIS INCLUDES ALL FOOTBALL CLUBS AND LEAGUES. LAL CLUBS MUST READ ALL AND APPLY FOR GRANTS IF POSSIBLE

Further to government and LFA guidance, all LAL games are suspended for the foreseeable future. Further announcements will be made in due course.

We've already had several applications from clubs interested in joining our league from the 20/21 season. If your club is interested in learning more - we can place your team(s) in any of our divisions - please contact Peter Duffy our League Secretary at [email protected]

Our meeting of clubs will be held on Tuesday 25th February 2020 at Rochdale Cricket Club with a 7.30pm start time. All clubs must attend this meeting as per League Rules. An agenda will be sent to Club Secretaries in due course.
