- Perspective Check :-
Nigeria taught me resilience.
Canada is teaching me consistency.
Both lessons matter.

Lifetime costs feel abstract until one accident hits. Our โroutine yearโ looked fineโฆ then one dental repair after a fight blew past what most people budget for food+toys annually. Do your dog numbers include emergency/dental, or mostly food + basic vet?

The privilege of early foresight is seeing the curve before the crowd, and choosing differently.
Some call it the road less traveled; others call it risk taking. History usually calls it vision.
Itโs knowing that small decisions compound, that habits harden, that environments shape outcomes.
Not everyone gets that clarity early; some people only see it after consequences arrive. Thatโs why itโs a privilege.
Those who have it can invest sooner, unlearn and relearn faster, pivot earlier, and avoid expensive lessons.
But the real test isnโt having that foresight, it is acting on it when comfort is still available and change is not yet forced.

You still have goals you want to accomplish before 2026 ends, but everything seems important and you're not sure where to focus.
With less than two months left in the year, deciding what deserves your attention, what can wait, and what you need to let go of can make a real difference.
That's why we're hosting STRATEGIC RESET, a live, interactive Zoom session to help you reassess your goals, clarify your priorities, and build a realistic action plan for the remaining weeks of the year.

As we await the UK ๐ฌ๐ง government's final announcement, here are the major ILR changes currently being proposed:
โขStandard settlement route: 5 years could become 10.
โขSome lower-paid workers, including care workers, could face up to 15 years.
โขFaster settlement may depend on earnings, economic contribution and integration.
โขGood character and immigration compliance will matter.
โขTransitional arrangements for existing migrants remain uncertain.
โขPeople already in the UK could also be affected.
If implemented, these changes could completely alter the settlement plans of thousands of migrants. ๐ฌ๐ง๐

๐จ๐ฆ Think Calgary gets a lot of snow? Some Canadian cities would laugh at that.
For many Canadians, snow is something to endure.
For others, it's the whole reason they live there.
Here are 4 Canadian cities where snow lovers absolutely thrive:๐๐
๐ญ Quebec City, Quebec
Few places embrace winter like Quebec City. Snow-covered historic streets, winter carnivals, ice hotels, skiing, and postcard-worthy scenery turn every winter into a celebration instead of a complaint.
๐ Saguenay, Quebec
Receiving some of the most reliable snowfall in the country, Saguenay is a paradise for snowmobilers, skiers, and outdoor enthusiasts. Winter isn't a season here. It's a lifestyle.
โท๏ธ Sherbrooke, Quebec
Surrounded by ski hills and blessed with frequent snowfall, Sherbrooke offers endless winter recreation without a trip to the mountains.
Snow lovers are spoiled for choice. The funny thing about Canada is this:
Most people spend winter counting down to spring.
Meanwhile, in places like these, people are hoping for the next snowfall. โ๏ธ๐
Some Canadians see snow as a problem. Others see it as a feature.

Yeah, they pocketed the inflows only to turn around to scapegoat the students. No talk about cities and provinces and schools failing to match social infrastructures with population growth.

You live in North America, Europe, or Asia and want your social media to cover your gas, car insurance, maintenance, or monthly investment contributions? Read this. ๐งต๐
Do not sleep on Facebook. North American users love that app.
Take time to study the content that they consume there; go for value-focused, faceless page profiles. Add your creativity to such content and push out yours.
Also, study how the META algorithm works and the rules of posting there.
Some of us left our Facebook personal profiles dormant for over a decade. But if you know you have something to offer social media, have a little spare time daily, and you now live in developed locations, go back there and activate a page or pages.
Take advantage of your current location. Stay consistent, never missing a day.
Between a minimum of 6 to 9 months, hit monetization and thank me later!

JAPA IF YOU CAN!!!!
In the US, if you get laid off or lose your job through no fault of your own, you may qualify for unemployment benefits. And no, you don't have to be a citizen. Green Card holders can qualify too if they meet the requirements.
Here in Texas, depending on your previous earnings, you can receive up to $619 a week, about $2,476 every four weeks, for up to 6 months while you look for another job.
The state also offers job search help to get you back to work.
It won't replace your full salary, but it's something to keep you afloat while you figure out your next move.
When people talk about having a system that has your back when life happens matters a whole lot.
Does Nigeria have your back? ๐คจ
I come in peace โ๐พ
JAPA IF YOU CAN!!!!
As an international student working 20hrs per week here, letโs say I earn around โฌ900 monthly (which is mostly even higher). If I have worked for at least one year, I become entitled to unemployment benefits of around โฌ500 until I get another job.
The government will even be the one sending me links for jobs while unemployed.

Having a job and being financially comfortable are two different things.
Some people are employed, work hard every day, pay their bills and still have to calculate every dollar before making another purchase.
We need to talk more about the reality of working hard and still struggling to get ahead.

Newcomers, donโt let your kids manipulate you in stores by throwing tantrums for stuff you didn't budget for.
My kids tried this for a $300 Halloween ๐ setup. I had to give them the quick Yoruba warning: play up and ruin my peace, and November candy privileges are officially canceled.
They composed themselves real fast!

That video of the woman taking her child back to Nigeria for schooling so the child can โunderstand the language and know Nigeriaโ while theyโre based in Canadaโฆ I just laughed.
Itโs a dangerous game. If anything goes wrong, youโll blame yourself forever for that one decision.
Meanwhile, did Tinubu, Dangote, or Otedolaโs children school in Nigeria?
Theyโre the ones dominating the country right now.
People have different reasons why they want to japa, most times itโs not just about making money!
Some want peace of mind.
Some want to nationalize after so many years.
So want access to good healthcare.
Some want to enjoy life, with their little earning.
Some want to, because of their kids!
