On January 27, 2025, 88 Jewish organizations (including Union for Reform Judaism, HIAS, National Council of Jewish Women, J Street, and many local groups) signed a letter to President Trump opposing mass deportations, detention camps, and raids. The letter itself stated they represent millions of diverse American Jews.
