I’m wondering why @EducationFL thinks it’s “BEST” for 4th graders to use stem & leaf plots? Never have seen those outside school setting 🤔 Have seen box/whiskers is data reports.

These @rjlCardinals are legit mathematicians! Their visual representations, conceptual understanding, & equations of multiplying whole # & fraction were 🤯 S reflection in #Journal said it was due to #PowerOfYet! All the 🧠 sweat earned them the chance to make & enjoy the mix!

A5: When instructional materials don’t support teaching or learning of the standards I find materials that do match or create my own from my understanding. Thankfully I use @IllustrateMath for my grade level and don’t have to worry about that. #coreadvocates #iacoreadvocates

The Senate Education Appropriations Subcommittee will meet at 9:00am today. Among other things, they will discuss SB 1220--a bill to further expand vouchers. What they won't mention is these voucher schools don't guarantee a quality education, or even a valid diploma. 1/7
