SM Entertainment is currently facing a decline in the U.S. market, with its other acts struggling to maintain their presence. Meanwhile, aespa continues to deliver strong results, securing another Billboard 200 Top 10 entry while other SM acts failed to debut in the chart’s Top 120. They also achieved SM’s highest ever peak on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100, the company’s first ever U.S. Digital Song Sales entry, and sold out U.S. shows. aespa was also the only SM act to perform at Lollapalooza Chicago this year, drawing a massive crowd and further demonstrating their strong presence in the U.S. market.
