Terry Fox. Man ran 42 kilometers every day for 143 consecutive days.
If you don’t know about, Terry, read up on him. Truly remarkable what he was able to accomplish

Not only is he the greatest Canadian, but running a marathon a day for 143 consecutive days, on 1 leg, with a body progressively becoming more and more riddled with cancer is one of the greatest athletic accomplishments in human history. 🇨🇦🇨🇦
Todd was what all of us in Saskatchewan strive to be. Passionate in our beliefs but kind, honest and respectful at all times.
What you saw was what you got. If he said it, he meant it. A good man thru and thru.
I will miss him.
The Passing of the Honourable Senator Todd Lewis.

@Sportsnet what’s the deal with the awful sound and descriptions on the Blue Jays Way broadcast. It’s echoing.

Replying to @Sportsnet
@Sportsnet hey what’s going on? The Yankee game is supposed to be on Sportsnet One right now. Instead, we’re getting a replay of the Blue Jays game that just ended an hour ago. Get it together and show the right game that’s on the guide. Six channels and you can’t get it right?

A Game 7 Prayer:
We call on the Forum Ghosts,
Maurice Richard, let the fire rise in every stride,
Beliveau’s poise, Lafleur’s speed, carry them when it counts,
“From failing hands we throw the torch, be yours to hold it high”

Is anybody else getting basically a repeat over and over of posts on Twitter today? I’ve refreshed about a dozen times in the last three hours and it’s the same 30 posts every time.

On April 9, 1917, Canadian soldiers began the gruelling operation to take Vimy Ridge back from German control.
Under a creeping barrage and through enemy machine gun fire, thousands of young Canadian men laid down their lives. The capture of Vimy Ridge saw Canadians in regiments from coast to coast accomplish more than any previous British offensive in the war.
The Vimy Ridge memorial sits atop Hill 145 on land given to Canada by France.
Remember Vimy Ridge.
