I genuinely hope that big robotics project whose name starts with P and ends with X is paying close attention and learns from the mistakes these guys made. 👀
People who spend their own money to contribute, sit in front of their PCs for months, and consistently dedicate their time and resources to helping a project grow should NEVER be treated as an afterthought when it's time to reward contributors.
If anything, these people should be at the very top of the priority list.
You cannot encourage people to sacrifice their time, money and effort for months, only to suddenly act like their contributions barely matter when the rewards are ready.
Loyalty and genuine contributions should count for something.
Don't build your success on the backs of your earliest supporters and then forget them when it matters most. 🤝
