MERZ: For four and a half years, Ukraine has been fighting for its survival, and no one — yes, no one — has threatened Russia...
[AfD shouting and interrupting Merz]
Let me say this again now, quite calmly. We support Ukraine, and we will continue to support Ukraine.
Because they are also defending our freedom, even here in the middle of our European continent.
And your [AfD] reactions only show that you clearly intend to continue this downright grotesque reversal of perpetrator and victim.
No one has threatened Russia. Not NATO, not European Union, not Germany. And your [AfD] reactions show exactly how you think.
Ladies and gentlemen, the only thing that truly threatens Russia and Putin is the radiance of democracy.
Ukraine was on its way into European democratic family, and that is precisely the real danger to Putin’s regime in Russia.
And you in AfD know that, yet you remain unchanged on Russia’s side when it comes to defending our freedom here as well.

Russia destroyed any of Ukraine's commercial airliners anywhere they could from day one of the war.
Now it seems that Ukraine may return the favor. Just the 3 main Moscow airports have billions in aircraft, not to mention the economic hit of ending Russia's domestic air travel.
"Today we want to warn every airline that uses Russian airspace, every insurer, everyone who still uses key Russian airports: Russian skies are becoming completely unsafe. Ukraine does not threaten civil aviation as such – not a single civil aircraft. It's simply that there will be drones in the skies of Russia in a way that must be taken into account," - President Zelensky

Why do you send arms to the war criminal @KremlinRussia_E? What has @Ukraine ever done to Iran? Like Trump, you really don't give a shit if innocent people die, as long as the money keeps rolling in. You just cover your disgrace in the cloak of Islam.

Ukraine–Southeast Europe Summit. I am glad that we are all together, and that this format – the joint work of Ukraine and countries of South-Eastern Europe – is active and meaningful.
By working together, supporting one another, and building common security, defense, economic, political, and cultural ties, we make it possible for each of our nations – and for every nation in Europe – to preserve our identity and freely shape our own future.
I am grateful to you for your readiness to continue supporting our fight for independence. And I deeply value our joint work – bilaterally, through formats such as the Coalition of the Willing, and through other multilateral formats.

Russia must get out of Ukraine with its war – we want no war. Ukraine has put forward proposals to our key partners, and Putin’s friends have also heard from us that a meeting is possible and that ending this war is possible. Russia must now take that step toward peace.

The Russian dictator is now so paranoid that he had this Russian artist murdered in Poland for paintings like this.
It'd be a shame if we made his works more popular than ever.
The overly sensitive Russian dictator continues to murder his critics globally.
Russian artist Semyon Skrepetsky, known for his sharp criticism of the Kremlin was reportedly shot dead in the Polish city of Biała Podlaska.
According to Polish media reports, the attacker approached Skrepetsky in the parking area of a residential building and opened fire at close range. A suspect has reportedly been detained near the Belarusian Embassy, while investigators are also examining the possible involvement of a taxi driver who allegedly transported the attackers.
Authorities have increased security around schools and kindergartens attended by his children. Reports also indicate that Skrepetsky's Telegram channel has disappeared.
Born in Russia's Altai region as Robert Kuzovkov, Skrepetsky became widely known for political cartoons depicting Putin, Kadyrov, Lukashenko and Navalny. After relocating to Poland in 2021, he remained active in anti-Kremlin demonstrations across Europe.

Aside from helping Putin murder many more Ukrainian civilians, Trump's preventing Ukraine from purchasing Patriot air defense missiles has now succeeded in forcing Ukraine to come up with its own Patriot system which will surely later be sold en masse to previous Patriot clients

I am grateful that the International Advisory Group on Investment Attraction and Economic Development of Ukraine is working – and working actively. Today, together with Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko, government officials, and the Office team, we discussed two important points.
First, a comprehensive economic strategy will be prepared. We need steps that will deliver stronger economic growth for Ukraine and create more opportunities for our people to stay in the country and build jobs in Ukraine.
Second, we are preparing for the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk. The conference is scheduled for June, and we need to ensure strong results in the interests of Ukraine’s resilience and rapid recovery.
I thank everyone who stands with our state. I am grateful to the members of the Group who took part in the meeting: Ajay Banga, Marta Kos, Rishi Sunak, Wolfgang Ischinger, heads and representatives of the International Finance Corporation, Bank of America, BlackRock, CITI bank, the EIB, Fortescue, General Atlantic, McKinsey & Company, Siemens Energy, Deutsche Bank, Vestas Wind Systems, Citigroup, Investor AB, Lazard, ArcelorMittal, State Street Corporation, and others.

Today I want to commend our warriors, who once again showed that Ukrainian long-range sanctions are working effectively. The distance was nearly 800 kilometers from Ukraine’s state border – the city of Kstovo, oil refining – strike confirmed. Overall, our long-range plan for May is being carried out largely in full. The key targets are Russian oil refineries, storage facilities, and other infrastructure tied to these oil revenues. I am grateful for the additional proposals from our special services. We will be acting on them. We will be responding.
