Meet Vlad Totia (@0xpxls), founder of TAU Labs (@628Labs).
Two years ago, TAU Labs was a small tokenomics advisory firm, helping projects design how their tokens work. Today it is a quant-driven vault curator on Base, using quantitative models to design the strategies behind onchain vaults.
Its strategies focus on tokenized equities and cbETH, including a public cbETH strategy anyone can follow onchain.
So far, TAU Labs has:
- $13M in TVL across its vaults, with ~$6M on Base
- $2.6M+ in tokenized equity vaults

We're putting Coinbase tokenized stocks to work at scale, utilizing @aave for the growing Earn on Stock program.
Over 10,000 tokenized stock units ($2.6M), enrolled 450+ wallets, and with Aave V4's stock readiness, we are serving yield to users, weekends included.
It's still early. Our stock strategies already bring ~$44K in annualized interest to Aave V4's USDC lenders, and we plan to scale them and grow that footprint.
Here's how it works:
1. Users supply NVDAc, GOOGLc into TAU Labs-operated stock strategies
2. Those stock units are automatically deployed to Aave V4, and USDC is borrowed against them
3. That USDC is lent out on blue-chip markets on @base
That activity feeds back into each stock-denominated vault, growing participants' positions in units. Earning more stock units, in addition to simply holding them, will soon become the norm. We're building toward that new norm, with Aave under the hood.
We use institutional-grade vault infrastructure from @ipor_io Fusion to facilitate and automate this process. TAU Labs is now the largest operator of tokenized equity strategies on the Base network.
Our stock vaults are already surfaced on @jumperapp and soon many others to come.

IPOR Fusion now hosts Base's largest Earn on Stocks program.
Since 24 August, vaults built on IPOR Fusion have grown to over $2.5M in @coinbase Tokenized Stocks, with over 400 wallets enrolled.
Those stocks now work as collateral across @aave V4's tokenized stock markets on @base, where IPOR Fusion vaults supply 27.7% of all tokenized stock collateral, including more than half of NVDAc.
IPOR Fusion was Aave V4-ready on testnet back in February 2026, so operators could add V4 to existing vaults with no redeployment.
The strategies behind these vaults are operated by @628Labs.

Half of all the cbETH in circulation on @base sits in vaults built on Fusion.
That's from @alearesearch's new report on the Fusion ecosystem.
Since then, TVL has set a new record at $75M, more than tripling since May, with @ClearstarLabs, @Sentinel_codes, @tesseractcrypto and @628Labs among the independent operators whose strategies drove that growth.
