"why doesn't george pull a rosberg" because he's not nico ? and kimi is NOT lewis, this year is basically the first time they "fought" for a championship and if you think that rosberg reached that level of desperation and hunger after losing once then I don't think you get it
Voice of the Paddock: This season has been a snoozefest, the most sanitised, anaemic shadow of F1 imaginable. And Russell's refusal to even try to unsettle Antonelli sums up its 'Drive to Survive' problem (Article):
(Only George Parts)
Yet, yet, yet, this is a boring season. The sport has reached the apogee of Netflix’s Drive to Survive genre, the most sanitised, anaemic shadow of Formula One you could imagine. Ha, and to think that great Rabelaisian James Hunt won the title 50 years ago last week in a more buccaneering era with scraps and taunts and honest opinions overflowing, as well as a line of British Airways stewardesses outside his bedroom door.
Antonelli, a brilliant driver just out of his teens, is chilled but also a product of corporate Mercedes, trained up to his eyeballs to be circumspect since he joined them aged 11. He has not uttered one memorable line all year.
Nor has Russell, someone I know better and have always liked, jousted with Antonelli verbally.
Again, corporate Mercedes is at play, when Russell might otherwise have ripped into the team and stamped his feet for clearly favouring Kimi. (I repeat again and again, Russell has not been sabotaged; I just don’t believe he is Toto Wolff’s favourite son.)
So there has been no intra-team tension displayed, as well as no contest on track for months. Russell has won just three times to Antonelli's nine.
Why has Russell not got out his elbows as Nico Rosberg did when he used every possible psychological device to beat Hamilton in 2016 rather than keep talking about being the team player. It seems a sad and fatal statement of submission. Bernie Ecclestone wondered: ‘I don’t know if George has that killer instinct you need.’
and anyway it's not sustainable and george has spoken a lot how he wants to keep racing and how much he takes care of his physical and mental health
I see this season hasn't yet broken our spirit i was fully expecting toto to win by a landslide

georges mentality has been criticized the entire season and it really confuses me because he has been open on not being the best of what he can be and still acknowledging the shit that he can’t control.

Max Verstappen belives watches can be compared to Motorsports:
"How complex a watch is, the precision of a watch, I think always links very well with motorsports. You can see that in the history of motorsports. It’s always very well linked with a watch brand.
He puts Tag Heuer at the front of that history
“It has such a big history in racing, with very special moments and special drivers that they have partnered with.”

i was worried about how netflix will try to portray george this season, considering how hated he is already just for us to get an article saying this season is boring cause george refused to talk badly about kimi so they have nothing on him
