the crowd in the stands froth at their mouths as you rip it faster around the track than ever before. despite knowing that the speeds are unsustainable and likely result in catastrophic ending, you step harder on the pedal. also wen GLM 5.5

drivers with master's degrees still rank higher than you farming views off western pity. i would be embarrassed to give you 30 seconds in person.
Fuck this Chinese job market. Young people are getting absolutely fucked. No real opportunities, shit pay that barely covers rent, and you're expected to grind 996 like a dog. Overtime is mandatory, weekends are optional, and if you complain you get replaced by the next desperate grad. Everyone's killing each other for scraps. Involution is out of control — 300 people fighting for one mediocre position, then the winner gets paid like shit and worked to death. Graduates with master's degrees delivering food or sitting on their parents' couch. Companies treat you like disposable labor. No raises, no promotions, just more work and the constant threat of being laid off. The economy's trash, private sector is dying, and the only "stable" path is fighting millions for a government job that might not even exist by the time you get it. It's a fucking meat grinder. Opportunity? What opportunity. Just endless competition and poverty wages.

It’s actually crazy how you grow up thinking home-cooked meals every day are just normal, then get older and realise how much time and effort it took your Mom to make that happen and how lucky you were to have that.

blessing and a curse
AI was supposed to make us work less I've never been this tired in my life most days I have up to 10 agents running at the same time. one fixing a bug, one writing pages, one refactoring something I already forgot I asked for, 3 other I have no idea what they are doing but i suppose i ask it? and I jump from conversation to conversation all day compared to 5 years ago, I probably context switch 100x more by the end of the day my brain is fried. completely toasted. nothing left, not even for the people I love I call it the fried brain effect thought it was just me but almost every founder I talk to lately says the exact same thing we got superpowers, and somehow the pressure only went up. if you can ship 10x more, you feel like you have to ship 10x more. every single day I don't have a solution honestly I have no idea where this goes from here anyone else feeling this?

llms.. are we addicted to the reverb of our thoughts or distilling the secrets to life? i stopped writing in my journals. will need to recapitulate my efforts. perhaps substack should become my main journal entry.

people will increasingly interact with ai and write less for each other. maybe if we start caring more about each other we’d be better off, but it’s hard to beat the company of oscar wilde and ernest hemingway. perhaps we’re all going to have to get a little more interesting.

You should only be able to consume from the world as much value as you create for it. Good money holds us all accountable to making the world a better place. Fiat lets a select few extract value from everyone else without giving value back. That’s the scam. #Bitcoin fixes this
