They sold us capitalism by telling us it would lead to lower prices, freedom, and abundance for all, but it was all a lie. The opposite happened: It has led to higher prices, record profits for corporations, and decay for humanity. The crazy part is it’s only going to get worse from here on out because in its final stage capitalism starts consuming itself when it runs out of things to exploit for profit. The capitalist ruling class has no plan B because their minds are unable to grasp a better world where society is not ruled by profit, exploitation, and greed. The only hope humanity has left is for the people to rise up and fight for a better system where workers own the means of production, and the economy is run not to generate profits, but to meet people’s basic needs.

French government: “The protests are dwindling.” Reality: The protests are growing in strength with 480,000 people showing up today and a bigger protest planned for Saturday. All power to the students who are protesting for their future.

Liberal institutions and political parties will call out injustice, but they will never act to replace the capitalist and imperialist system causing injustice as their main function is to preserve it and make exploitation and war more “palatable” to the liberal class.

Here is Democrat Chris Murphy admitting he doesn’t want to withdraw US troops from the Middle East, but instead wants to reinforce US bases in the region. We are ruled by two imperialist parties, which is why the wars rage on no matter who you vote for.

Obama on the midterms: “It is the most consequential election in history.” Democrats say this every election but when they get power they govern for Wall Street, the war machine, and Israel just like Republicans do. Insane how many Americans keep falling for it. There is no hope in a two-party system when both parties exist to serve capital and war, not people. The people have to make our own hope by rejecting this system and building a better one.
