Some folks are saying I won for “demographic” reasons. 1st of all, that’s false. We won w/voters of all kinds. 2nd, here’s my 1st pair of campaign shoes. I knocked doors until rainwater came through my soles. Respect the hustle. We won bc we out-worked the competition. Period.

1996 : Gujarat BJP Government was dismissed by the President on advise of the PM. Vaghela split the BJP to form Govt with backing of Congress. Name of the BJP state unit head was VajuBhai Vala. Name of PM was HD Devegauda. Karma is a bitch.

In terms of activity, the average Indian user spends 55 minutes on WhatsApp every day, compared with 66 minutes by WeChat users in China. #crazystats
At least CBI has figured out how to arrest someone in the arrival lounge of an airport. Next step - Departure lounge.

2/ For me block chain in what internet was in mid 90s, a promising technology. It would take ~10yrs for business models around the technology to emerge. Run up of cryptoccy is equivalent to valuation metric during in '99-01 dotcom days. ICO are like selling shovels in a gold rush
1/ Mid 90s internet was a new tech with great potential. Led to random valuation models like $/click. Valuations of dotcom companies went through the roof in '97-99 & then crashed in '00-01. Post that it took ~10+yrs for business models to emerge around the internet technology
2/ Payment bank in 2018: ?? Learning: <To be part of B school case study> Anecdotal evidence: 1/ Airtel payment bank had to fudge aadhaar kyc to fraudulently open accounts. 2/Users of a popular wallet stood in queue at PSU bank to open full service a/c
