Today's White House meltdown started when Zelensky confronted JD Vance for saying that the US will be "engaging in diplomacy" to end the Ukraine proxy war.
Zelensky responded by arguing that Putin can't be trusted, and challenged Vance with a question: "What kind of diplomacy, J.D., you are speaking about?"
If Zelensky wasn't such a devoted warmonger, he'd know that one of his negotiators, Ukrainian diplomat Oleksandr Chalyi, has already answered his question.
At the Russia-Ukraine peace talks in Istanbul of March-April 2022, Chalyi later recalled, the two sides “managed to find a very real compromise” and “were very close.. to finalize the war with some peaceful settlement.” Putin, he said, “tried to do everything possible to conclude [an] agreement with Ukraine.”
It was Zelensky that chose to walk away from that agreement, after the Biden admin and Boris Johnson urged him to. Zelensky knows that, so his question is just disingenuous.

The behavior of Zelenskyy is typical of Europe as a whole. Entitled. In denial of reality. Narcissistic. Unconcerned with our need to deal with many massive internal problems. Such juvenile & entitled behavior makes us less not more desirous of helping Ukraine and Europe.
Zelensky says he wants peace but he just rudely dismissed the Trump administration's diplomacy as pointless. That angered Trump and @JDVance and now Zelensky has fled the White House. This should be the wake-up call that global elites & Europe desperately need.
