Always a fan of 2028 C @D_Felix2028 of @ACALionBaseball as he plays the game right. Had a solid workout on 9/30, Pops of 2.03 - 2.16 sec. Bat is starting to tick up, ripped a hard 2B in the short scrimmages. Definitely heading into the New Year as one of the top WNC 2028 Catchers on the board @rickdearmas28 @nextlevelbbnc

2028 LHP Christian Norton of @ACALionBaseball came on in relief to close out their Fall game vs the Asheville Trailblazers on 9/23 At 6'8" 265 lbs, he's an imposing force on the bump. FB has been clocked in the mid to high 8s in the past. Looking forward to tracking him in the Spring @NovaXkinetics

There's a solid group of 2028 Catchers emerging in WNC and @D_Felix2028 of @ACALionBaseball is firmly in the middle of those conversations Excellent game manager who shows maturation beyond his years. Great presence behind the dish, pitchers love him and love throwing to him. Active on the block and recover, throws are accurate and efficient. Pops were down to 1.98 - 2.06 seconds and will get even better as he adds more arm strength. Very efficient transfers Showcases well, but Felix is best appreciated by watching over the course of a game; constantly steps up to the moment. Felix has the personality archetype that Coaches love to recruit. EVs were solid, up to 87 MPH, barrel action is much better than from what I evaluated a year ago. Balanced, on plane, buries the eyes in the swing, hips fire. 5'9" 165 frame has plenty of room for more muscle. Well Coached over at ACA w/ Coach Z. Plays quality summer ball with Coach @rickdearmas28 and @nextlevelbbnc Excellent student who has a 4.38 GPA and an interest in Engineering/STEM

2027 MIF @Jack_Duckett_27 of @ACALionBaseball is a very efficient ball player with a clean style that would fit well at a high academic D3, especially with his 4.0 GPA and a solid ACT score. Well coached, knows how to play the game the right way. Steady hands and balance in the infield. Chooses good hops. Decleats every time. Arm plays better than his arm strength (mid 7s). Quick, pretty DP flips/transfers. Wide stance at the plate helps him stay connected and find timing. Plays to his singles/ high contact style. Exit Velos were up to 84 MPH w/ lots of line drives. Reminds me of former ACA MIF @Leyton10510 a bit, who had a solid JUCO career at Surry. Duckett has a great foundation to his game, but will see big jumps with a commitment to the weight room. Again, high academic ball player, yet remains Undecided on career path. Open to JUCO and 4 Year.

@ACALionBaseball Alum has always been a stud. I think there's pro potential there as well
