C5 HAZE X KALI CHINA: C5 Haze is an old selected cutting of Northern Lights #5 x Haze C and is by far the most influential F1 sativa/indica hybrid of the modern era of cannabis breeding. Created in the Netherlands during the late 1980s by the famous breeder #NevilleSchoenmakers. NL#5HazeC became popular worldwide for its huge yields, very powerful long-lasting effects and high THC content, unheard of at the time, leading this strain to win many of the early cannabis cups. Developed as a direct cross between the Afghani #NorthernLights5 and the #HazeC male, this vintage C5 cutting includes the indica and sativa parents (respectively) that have had the most impact on strain development in the last 35 years, also forming the main parental line of the best #DutchHaze hybrids of the ‘90s. ACE Seeds was gifted with this original extraordinary old #C5Haze Clone, bred and selected by Neville himself in the late 80’s and was preserved by Yo Sammy who was so kind to share it with us. #C5HazexKali China is the first hybrid offered by ACE Seeds using this glorious classic, maintaining the large sized and well-branched sativa structure, the very high yields and the powerful psychoactivity of the original C5, enriched by our highly worked Kali China, with its complex incense, fruity and hashish terpenes to the most classic Thai citrus and spicy palate of the C5, creating new ranges of terpene profiles, slightly reducing flowering to more moderate ripening times (especially outdoors), and improving the psychoactive quality with a more positive but still very powerful character. Due to the extreme heterosis of the original NL/Haze F1 hybrid, this cross with the more stabilised Kali China still produces relatively variable offspring, allowing the grower to find different expressions, making this cross a very interesting and much more exciting option for those growers who are easily bored with a single phenotype and who prefer some variability. The high genetic recombination of this polyhybrid also allows the emergence of new and interesting terpene profiles and effects not previously found in its parents. During the second half of flowering the floral structures bulk up nicely, forming long and heavy colas with a great flower to leaf ratio, tending to produce small foxtails during the last weeks of flowering, at which time some examples can show the beautiful purple hues inherited from #KaliChina. BUBBA KUSH X PCK: Afghani/Pakistani indica hybrid that will delight lovers of classic #hashplants. Bred from Bubba Kush, probably the most archetypal and remarkable expression of an American Afghani, with a huge impact over the last two decades, and the also famous Pakistan Chitral Kush, the #Pakistani that has been most widely used in the development of successful hybrids in the last decade, due to its incredible and distinctive purple and reddish colors, for its extraordinary terpene profile of forest fruits and for its excellent resistance against all types of adverse climatologies. With Panama A5 Haze, lovers and seekers of the A5 Haze and the most incensed Dutch Haze are in luck. Among the hybridisation projects between our sativas and the legendary #A5Haze (Northern Lights #5/Haze A) by Neville, the cross with Panama (our most complete and elaborate sativa) is probably the one with the greatest potential of all: a sublime 80% sativa hybrid with genetics mainly from Colombia, Panama and Afghanistan. 2 well differentiated main phenotypes can be found. The first and most common (60-70% of the plants) produces very dominant expressions of A5 Haze, with the extreme vigour of the original F1 #A5 clone and an explosive sativa heterosis from the Panama, which perfectly capture and enhance the penetrating and most exciting old terpenes of leather, liver, charas, decaying flowers and outrageous incense of the A5 Haze, with more realistic finishing times (11-13 weeks), and an overwhelming quality and personality of an American sativa worthy of legend. The yields of this first phenotype are massive: very long, fat colas due to reflowerings, formed by the accumulation of countless buds, really big, wide and beautiful, highly resinous, dense and meaty, with a very good flower/leaf ratio. Growers looking for the most prolific expressions, best adapted for indoor growing, will take note to look for their favourite female in this phenotype, such expressions of #PanamaA5Haze will immerse you in a dense mist of the most exotic and pungent Haze incenses of the 90s, but in this case without skunk, with less Afghan presence from Northern Lights, and with the always positive contribution of our Panama Goddess F10, which always enhances effects and terpene profiles with its elaborate lineage and refined top-notch American sativa qualities. In contrast to the first phenotype, always tall expressions, but tamed and adapted to indoor growing, we find a less common recessive phenotype, with extremely dominant characteristics of the Neville’s Haze A male (both in growth and flowering): like a non-hybridised old Mexican sativa expression, with much shorter internode distances, and slow flowering up to 15 weeks, not great adaptability to artificial light and without observable influence from NL #5 or Panama. This second phenotype produces untamed pure sativa expressions, with much more modest yields indoors, but allows the incensed Dutch Haze lover to experience females with very dominant and reliable characteristics of Neville’s Haze A male, whose offspring created the legend of the most incensed Haze hybrids. THC: 22.15 % CBD: 0.04-0.08 % CBG: 0.89-1.73 % Flowering indoors: 11-15 weeks Flowering outdoors (37ºN): November Bouquet: Leather, meat (liver), charas, wood, decaying flowers and scandalous incense, some specimens also show a pestilent organic-rotting background, like decaying meat. HIMALAYA SNOW. 90% sativa hybrid, result of crossing our two latest Nepalese projects, combining two excellent pure wild sativas from Nepal (Annapurna and Kathmandu) with a touch of old Kali Mist. It produces two main phenotypes. The first, showcasing a distinct Nepalese character, yields tall, elegant plants with lanky structures and asymmetrical branching, long nodes, and thin sativa leaves (especially large in the main ones). It flowers with medium sized, almost pure sativa buds that are light and have a mediocre flower/leaf ratio, but are completely covered in white resins and juicy sativa fruity terpenes. Unlike wild #Nepalesesativa, which concentrate resins almost exclusively in the calyxes, Himalaya Snow matures with leaves near the flowers also coated in abundant, large trichomes, making this phenotype an improved expression of traditional Nepalese charas plants. The second phenotype displays more traits of a modern sativa/indica hybrid, with a stronger influence from Kali Mist, which, although only 25% of the hybrid’s genetic content, shows prominently in this phenotype. It can be identified by its more robust structure, wider leaves, larger and denser sativa/indica flowers, higher flower/leaf ratio, and the appearance of a modern Haze hybrid fused with Nepalese sativas. #HimalayaSnow mermerizes with suggestive sweet, fruity, and charas-like terpene profiles, more intense and sophisticated than pure Annapurna or Nepal Mist alone. The cannabinoid content has also been increased to up to 15%, with significant CBG content, making the psychoactivity of Himalaya Snow much more elegant, potent and higher quality than its parents. This new Nepalese hybrid can be grown indoors, but reveals its full potential outdoors, especially in climates where flowering takes place in mild/cold temperatures. Prempavee is a mother and an organic farmer from Esaan, Northeast of Thailand. Her farm is located in the heart of an area that during the 60s and 70s was the biggest producer of #ThaiStick Since legalization in Thailand has opened the doors to foreign varieties, traditional Thai sativas are becoming increasingly rare. Thai Sticks are almost extinct due to the influx of western indica genetics for the market, but the landraces that were used to craft them still exist, and they are preserved by Prempavee and more than 2000 other farmers in the area. Since 2022, our lead breeder dubi spent 3 summers travelling across the country in search of its legendary traditional sativas (Thai Sticks, Hangkraroks and Chocolate Thais) and its precious seeds. His journeys took him from the southwestern coast along the Andaman Sea to the eastern islands in the Gulf of Thailand, through the mountainous north, from Chiang Mai-Chiang Rai to the Golden Triangle and Mae Hong Son on the borders with Laos and Myanmar, and finally to Isaan in northeastern Thailand. Towards the end of the last trip, our breeder travelled to a small village in Nakhon Phanom, in the heart of the region where the legendary traditional sativas used to produce the famous Thai Sticks. Renowned for their exceptional quality, these became hugely popular during the 1970s and 1980s. There, he met Prempavee and her family in person. We spent a couple of fantastic days together, after which we reached an agreement to distribute Prempavee landrace genetics in seed form.
