Last week ACORN Leeds marched into Parklane Lettings HQ after exposing illegal discrimination against people on benefits.
They tried to intimidate members and shut us down, but we stood firm and won!

For five months, residents have lived with rats, broken water, and dead intercoms. Spencer Properties has done nothing.
Last month we took our demands straight to their office. They gave us excuses, so we shut them down for the day.

Following our Ban Slum Landlords campaign and months of organising renters earlier in 2025 to take part in the consultation, Leeds City Council has finally taken action to expand Landlord Licensing across new areas of the city!

After months of being ignored, we took our demands straight to Leeds Civic Hall.
We secured a meeting with Cllr Asghar Khan to hold him to account on the council use of bailiffs.
