And we believe every single other person caused pain by the detestable leadership of Jill Ellis and the San Diego Wave. We vehemently condemn the abuse, racial discrimination, disability discrimination, sexual harrassment, retaliation, intimidation, and outright disregard for safety committed by the Wave organization and its leaders. We have lost count of how many times and how long we have demanded positive change within this league, so we are left with no way else to say: TIME IS UP. END ABUSE IN WOMEN'S FOOTBALL NOW.

We call for an external investigation (such as the Sally Yates investigation of U.S. Soccer and the NWSL that has previously called attention to Jill Ellis' failure to do right in similar situations) to ensure transparency, accountability, and change. SD Sirens: We urge you to find your voice. We hope, with everything in us, that you use it to sincerely support your community and hold your front office accountable. A club goes beyond the players and fans. The current, former, and future employees of the Wave deserve your support too.
