🚨: Astronomers discovered a cosmic wall of galaxies over 1 billion light years wide — the largest structure ever found.
Astronomers have identified the largest known structure in the universe: the BOSS Great Wall, a sprawling network of galaxies stretching over a billion light years across.
Discovered through the Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey, this titanic formation consists of 830 galaxies grouped into four superclusters, all linked by massive tendrils of hot gas.
Located 4.5 to 6.5 billion light years away, the BOSS Great Wall weighs in at around 10,000 times the mass of the Milky Way. While some astronomers debate whether it qualifies as a single continuous structure, its sheer scale offers valuable insights into how matter was distributed after the Big Bang. By mapping such formations, scientists gain a better understanding of cosmic evolution and the large-scale shape of the universe. Though the BOSS currently holds the title, its reign may be short-lived as researchers continue to peer deeper into the cosmos.

🚀🌌 Voyager 1 has left the Sun's protective bubble—the heliosphere—and is now traveling through interstellar space, over 25 billion km from Earth.
Launched in 1977, it's the most distant human-made object ever. Yet even after nearly 50 years, it isn't close to another star. At its current speed, reaching the nearest star system, Alpha Centauri, would take tens of thousands of years.
A humbling reminder of both human curiosity and the unimaginable scale of the universe. ✨

Ulsan to Swap Diesel Excavators for #Hydrogen — a 16.6 Billion Won ($12.1M) Demo Using Solid-Storage Alloys.
Ulsan City is launching a four-year, 16.6 billion won ($12.1 million) demonstration to convert medium-to-large diesel excavators to hydrogen #fuelcell power, using Korea's first field deployment of solid hydrogen storage alloys.
Two 14-ton HD Construction Machinery hydrogen-electric excavators will run at lower pressure (below 100 bar), cutting refueling-station costs to about a fifth of a 700-bar system, while gathering data for safety and certification standards.
