Today, we took a deep dive into history to understand the roots of global policy looking at how the UNFCCC came to existence back in 1992 to fight climate change, and how we, as young people, fit into that ecosystem through #LCOY under YOUNGO.
We also spent time talking about something critical to the Eastern Region its biodiversity. Protecting our local ecosystems, wetlands, and wildlife isn’t just an environmental goal, it’s our survival. The energy in the room is amazing.

During my submission at the Northern sitting by @UG_FarajaAfrica , l emphasized investing in climate-smart agriculture and empowering youth through agribusiness. Organizations like @AFRIWISEFDN are already proving that youths can lead sustainable solutions to food insecurity.

I shared my journey of volunteering, mentorship, and community service, encouraging students to see that leadership isn't about age or position, it's about choosing to act where you are. If not us, then who? If not now, when? 💡🙌
There is something deeply fulfilling about standing before young people and reminding them that they already have the potential to create change. Honored to speak at the #GCA2026 Activation at Musana Vocational School, Iganga District, alongside student leaders, teachers 🌱✨
