Voting for the more Moderate Republican and voting against the House Freedom Caucus Republican who objectively is to the right of the Moderate they voted for is "burning it down"? Kinda sounds like they want the status quo.
Young Voters wanting to🔥 Burn It Down 🔥 I warned all of you. Think twice before assuming in your models all those partisans are your votes. You'll assume wrong. amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0HJRZ7JG…

Like if the idea is to "burn it down" then you would vote for the most extreme candidate in the race to change up the status quo. A correct "burn it down" ticket would be like Donalds/Nixon. Moody helps keeps the status quo in the federal government, Jolly if elected would only be able to pass bipartisan bills, or the GOP would need a supermajority of mostly not very right wing state legislatures to pass things and would undo multiple executive positions that DeSantis did. Most importantly undoing nearly everything the state has done on education. So that is the status quo ticket. Nixon would be a step closer to changing the government federally radically, and Donalds will almost certainly be working with a smaller and more radical part of the State Legislature, being able to pass bills with a bare majority in which the deciding vote will be from someone in like a R+25 area rather than a R+1 area.

Some people want an outsider for 28, but the reality is that Trump probably will be the only outsider to ever win the presidency. Anyone else will be an elected official at a lower office before hands, which makes them not really a outsider. Dems were 100% confident there was no universe that Trump could win. Clinton campaigned like an idiot based on that, and like 7% of the nation voted third party assured that enough Dems would vote Dem to get Clinton. Insanely lucky, and probably the greatest mistake ever made by the Democrats. They will never make that mistake again. They will never let off the brakes for a "joke" candidate. Another thing is that the GOP has greatly regressed in small dollar donations. Several major "outsider" candidates this year did just awful in fundraising. Trump didn't even raise that much money in 2016 in the primary but he was given plenty free media. Maybe another outsider could get that, but still the Dems (or opposing party) will not NOT take them seriously.

Do you think everyone who pretends to know Foreign Policy will be shocked when the next guy comes in and acts nearly identical especially on a global stage because it ultimately benefits Israel all the same?
BREAKING: Netanyahu crashes to all-time low in odds to remain Prime Minister of Israel after tomorrow's election, as centrist former IDF chief Eisenkot surges. 27% chance. 🔗 polymarket.com/r/Netanyahu26

Texas seems to end today pretty even on where the votes came from. Both sets of counties had less votes come in today compared to yesterday. GOP down about 100k, Dems down 20k. Over the past two days the GOP Counties are at 52% of the vote. Curious if weekend mail in or something didn't get counted today? We will see tomorrow!
First dump out of Texas, compared to yesterday Trump Counties are making up 1% less, Kamala Counties identical. Swing counties up 1%.

We know its a separate state but for example Georgia really didn't count today, or at least Trump areas didn't. Today's dump in Georgia was 92% from Harris counties. With 1/5 of the total ballots counted yesterday. It can be tough to tell sometimes.

Another example is that most counties did 1 update today at about 11:30, while Harris gave constant updates through the day. Not sure if that's just how it was or if its something to do with our source.

"There’s no evidence that betting harms election integrity" From every perspective this is exactly the case. Not only are people losing money for betting on the most obvious wrong candidate, it makes discourse terrible, and candidates grift off of it. It's worse than polling.
Regulate polls, not prediction markets. There’s no evidence that betting harms election integrity, but fake surveys have done so this year, write Harry Crane @HarryDCrane and @KolemanStrumpf on.wsj.com/4i8zIKq

"In 2012, a U.S. immigration judge ruled that Diawara could not be deported to Mali, but the U.S. could find a safe alternative if it ever wanted to remove him from the country." Took us 14 years to find a safe alternative, but we did!
A Texas father who had lived in the U.S. for 25 years with no criminal record was finishing his night shift as an Uber driver when immigration agents detained him. Without being able to speak to his lawyer or a judge, he was put on a plane and sent first to Ghana, a country where he had no ties. He was then sent to his home country, despite a determination by a U.S. immigration court judge that he could not be deported there due to likely persecution. cbsn.ws/3Ude66r

"Deport the parents and give them the chance to take their baby back home with them" - Joel Berry, Jan 2025

This has been probably the darkest 24 hours I’ve ever experienced on social media in my life. The things being said about Samuel, his wife, and his small children are unthinkably evil. There is a segment of the so-called “Christian” nationalist crowd that has given itself completely over to Satan. I’ve never had more resolve to defeat these subversive demons invading the Right and invading Christianity.

You can replace "end birthright citizenship" with like a dozen other issues and odds are some online people will fit the described individual to a T.
Do you think the guy who called this cope is going to do anything productive to end birthright citizenship? Is he going to become a lawyer then get on SCOTUS to change the ruling? No. Is he going to run for President to forcibly change the laws? No. Is he going to run for office and introduce a bill? No. Is he going to physically remove illegals or investigate birth tourism as a member of the DHS? No. Is he going to donate, doorknock, or volunteer for candidates who will move towards repealing birthright? No. Is he going to take 20 minutes to go vote for said candidates to help repeal it? No. Is he going to go online and make a single tweet telling people to vote for said candidates? No. Is he going to go vote for people who will actively make repealing birthright significantly harder? Yeah, probably. Hmmmm beginning to assume the guy doesn't actually care about birthright citizenship.

Not what SCOTUS did at all. They made a ruling upholding a 1898 ruling. If Congress & Senate were involved in trying to get rid of birthright citizenship then it would have been 5-4. In which case we just need a diabetic 72 year old or a 71 year old to retire, in which then (if Congress and Senate helped) we could get rid of birthright citizenship 5-4. This is an incredibly reasonable path to changing the law, and easily shows that its not enshrined into our law.

The same SCOTUS who just enshrined birthright citizenship into law?

Hopefully SCOTUS in 2028 lets every red county vote for 2 hours longer and force every blue county to stop getting new votes. That way more people are allowed to vote.

Brazil Supreme Court= allow people to vote. America’s supreme court= make voting more difficult
