Following a multi-agency investigation into unlawful firearm possession and narcotics sales, we’ve arrested two individuals in Tulare County and recovered six firearms—including a pistol reported stolen in 2023—along with illegal drugs.
At CA DOJ, we’ll continue working with agencies across the state to prevent gun violence and protect Californians.

Let’s be clear about the facts: California has more than 23 million registered voters — the 28 cases of alleged voter fraud announced this morning represent .0001% of that total.
Isolated cases of voter fraud occur in red and blue states alike. As I’ve said repeatedly, any substantiated allegation of voter fraud should be taken seriously and, when supported by the facts and law, prosecuted.
We have safeguards in place to protect election integrity, and they’re working.
We’ve secured a settlement with Fidelity over the company's past restrictions on the ability to withdraw certain cryptocurrencies.

Following concerning reporting that Character AI chatbots fostered an emotionally and sexually exploitative relationship with a child, we launched an investigation into Character AI that identified potential consumer protection and privacy violations.
Now that the company has filed for bankruptcy, we’re alerting the court to these issues, that must be addressed in any asset sale or transfer.
My office looks forward to remaining actively engaged in the bankruptcy proceedings in order to protect Californians.

I call on federal watchdogs to investigate and prosecute this shocking misuse of public funding and breach of public trust.
