Today, we launch an anti-racism and discrimination campaign, which conveys the clear message that our organisation stands against racism and that racism or discrimination has no place in any of our HCS estates, or towards our employees.

From 26-28 May, we're transitioning to a new Electronic Patient Record system. We've taken steps to minimise disruptions, but may experience temporary delays. Please only visit the emergency department for medical emergencies. (1/2)

Come join me Tuesday (5th) afternoon to support me and OUR Hospital as the (not so) silent majority. Leaving from Parade entrance at 2. 30pm with front line workers who recognise we need a new hospital NOW because of structural delapidation, and risking lives

It was an absolute pleasure spending time with our patients yesterday promoting the importance of good nutrition & hydration, & hearing about their experience of our services - thank you also to our wonderful staff for all that you do each & everyday
Yesterday as part of Nutrition and Hydration Week, leaders in HCS served afternoon tea to inpatients at the Hospital and other community wards. Food and drink is really important in recovery. A fantastic opportunity to talk to patients . 1/2

Such a challenge for health care workers who may have compassion/empathy fatigue post pandemic to think about compassionate leadership. We know it’s important but might need support to bounce back #resilience #healthatwork2022 @GovJsyHCS

Great to see this app helping Islanders #hereforthepatient ❤️
In March 2021, the my mhealth app was launched. The app connects patients with their clinical teams and enables healthcare professionals to offer more accessible and efficient services. It’s available to Islanders who are living with COPD, heart disease, diabetes, or asthma.
