The race course masjid case needs @KirenRijiju’s urgent intervention. 1. Despite the masjid being a gazetted waqf property since 1977, the waqf board did not challenge the demolition order. Neither did it make any effort to resolve the issue 2. Even the Waqf Amendment Act protects the masjid since it’s ‘waqf by user.’ And all such properties registered in the past continue to be protected. But still no effort was made. 3. It’s the Minister’s job to resolve the matter since the Delhi Waqf Board hasn’t been constituted since 2023 but the CEO of the Board could have intervened, that also did not happen.

दिल्ली में रेस कोर्स के पास स्थित ऐतिहासिक मस्जिद हुजरा कुआँ को गिराने की कोशिश की कड़ी निंदा करता हूँ। 1977 के गज़ेट में दर्ज इस मस्जिद में लोगों को नमाज़ पढ़ने से रोका जा रहा है और इसके देखरेख करने वाले को मस्जिद गिराने की धमकी दी गई है, जबकि कोई नोटिस तक जारी नहीं हुई है। मुसलमानों की इबादतगाहों को निशाना क्यों बनाया जा रहा है? वक़्फ़ संशोधन कानून और Places of Worship Act के दुरुपयोग की हमारी आशंकाएँ सच साबित होती दिखायी दे रही हैं। सरकार इन ग़ैर क़ानूनी धमकियों को वापस ले और साफ़ करे कि मस्जिद के ख़िलाफ़ ऐसी कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की जाएगी।

ऐसे लोगों को पहचानिए, जो नहीं चाहते कि उत्तर प्रदेश में मुसलमानों की अपनी सियासी आवाज़ हो।

हम SIR के ख़िलाफ़ थे और आगे भी रहेंगे।
