YES, that’s ch. 4’s George Richert cuddling that chicken! He was at AJ Schmidt today to film a spot on the school’s partnership with Buffalo State College. Chickens and rabbits are involved as they help kids learn math. Tune in Ch 4 tonite at 4 and 6 to see how it works!

Today I really miss my students. Even though I'm still teaching, everyday, it isn't the same. I miss more than ever, seeing my kids who always make me smile and laugh. I miss the connections we made everyday together. I miss our morning check in. I miss my Fourth Grade Family.

There have always been children around the world who have not had the opportunity to go to school because of poverty, war, or discrimination. This morning I am remembering them. I hope we never take education for granted.

Teachers & parents, block off chunks of the day to spend time with your family. Some of you have seniors or even college students at home, what a blessing in disguise. While its a scary & tough time, we have been given time we will never get again. Don't take it for granted.
