Leeds United Football Club are appalled at the disgusting, racist social media abuse Jayden Bogle suffered following Saturday’s Premier League victory against Tottenham Hotspur.
Leeds United condemns this behaviour in the strongest possible terms. There is no place for racism in football or society.
The club will work with the Premier League and relevant authorities to identify the individuals and push for the strongest possible action to be taken against them.
Jayden has the full and unconditional support of the club and his teammates, and we all stand with him at this time.
Nobody should ever be subjected to racist abuse.

I’m surprised Spurs fans are still focusing on the red card rather than the bigger picture: the performance.
A Tottenham midfield costing over £200m was outfought and outbattled by a Leeds midfield assembled for less than £30m. Their forwards, who also cost a fortune, were virtually non-existent.
As for Bogle’s challenge, it was accidental. He stood on a player’s ankle while trying to position his standing leg. There was no forceful lunge, no jumping in and no deliberate attempt to injure anyone. It was an unfortunate accident, not a leg-breaker.
Spurs should be asking why a team with that level of investment couldn’t compete with Leeds across the pitch, rather than making the red card the entire conversation.
