Most people don't know peacebuilding exists or what it is. When they learn, many say it surely shriveled up these last 3 yrs. Surprisingly, just the opposite. @ALLMEP's network has grown 40%, and the NGOs have waiting lists. We're excited to welcome the newest members.

Canada, alongside Australia, France and the United Kingdom, expresses deep regret over the postponement of Palestinian elections until September 2027. Nearly two decades have passed since the last Palestinian Legislative Council elections, leaving an entire generation without the opportunity to elect its representatives.
We call on the Palestinian Authority to reconsider this decision and to take the necessary steps to hold legislative and presidential elections, without further delay.
The blatant racism is not incidental. Israeli soldiers’ statements expose a system that denies Palestinians access to their land.

As prospects for a 2-state solution are eroded on the ground, this cross-party statement matters.
