Today, I launched PIVOT (Punjab Innovation for Value, Opportunity & Transformation), a three-year economic transformation programme designed to reshape Punjab’s economic landscape through industry, agriculture, tourism, skills and technology.
PIVOT is about moving beyond conventional governance, creating opportunities, strengthening our industries, empowering farmers, attracting investment and building an export-led economy.
Over the next three years, PIVOT aims to improve the lives of 1 million people, create 162,000 additional jobs, increase exports by $6.8 billion and attract Rs 906 billion in private investment, alongside Rs 1,089 billion in government investment.

� فالج کی علامات پہچانیں، زندگی بچائیں اورحکومتِ پنجاب کے قریبی سٹروک سنٹر سے رجوع کریں:
فالج (Stroke) کی صورت میں ہر منٹ قیمتی ہے۔ علامات کو پہچاننے کے لیے FAST Rule یاد رکھیں:
🅵 F — Face (چہرہ): کیا چہرہ ایک طرف ڈھلک رہا ہے؟
🅰️ A — Arms (بازو): کیا دونوں بازو اٹھانے پر ایک بازو نیچے گر جاتا ہے یا اس میں اچانک کمزوری محسوس ہوتی ہے؟
🆂 S — Speech (بولنے میں دشواری): کیا بولنے میں لڑکھڑاہٹ ہے یا الفاظ واضح ادا نہیں ہو رہے؟
🆃 T — Time (وقت): ان میں سے کوئی بھی علامت ظاہر ہو تو فوراً ایمرجنسی مدد حاصل کریں اور مریض کو قریبی اسٹروک سینٹر پہنچائیں۔
⚠️ فالج کی دیگر علامات میں اچانک نظر کی خرابی، جسم کے ایک طرف سن ہونا، توازن بگڑنا یا شدید سر درد شامل ہیں۔
یاد رکھیں! علامات ختم ہونے کا انتظار نہ کریں، چاہے مریض چند منٹ بعد بہتر محسوس کرنے لگے۔ علامات شروع ہونے کا وقت نوٹ کریں۔ مریض کو خود گاڑی چلانے، کھانا یا پانی دینے سے گریز کریں۔
🧠 بروقت علاج جان بچا سکتا ہے، معذوری سے بچا سکتا ہے اور معمول کی زندگی کی طرف واپسی ممکن بنا سکتا ہے۔

🔵 Code Blue: Rapid response to cardiac or respiratory arrest and other life-threatening emergencies.
🔴 Code Red: Emergency response to fire and related safety threats, helping protect patients, healthcare staff, and hospital facilities.
Every second counts in an emergency. These protocols aim to strengthen preparedness, improve coordination, and ensure a swift response when lives are at risk.
Every life is precious. Every second matters. Every patient deserves timely and quality care.

سٹروک کے مریضوں کے لیے تین لاکھ روپے کے قریب قیمت والا ٹی این کے انجکشن مفت فراہم کرنا زندگی بچانے کی کوشش ہے۔ یہ انجکشن پہلے ساڑھے چار گھنٹوں میں لگنا ضروری ہے تاکہ مستقل معذوری سے بچنے کے امکانات بڑھ سکیں۔ ریسکیو 1122 روزانہ تقریباً 85 سٹروک مریضوں کو قریبی سٹروک سینٹرز منتقل کرتی ہے۔ اس وقت تین جامع سٹروک مینجمنٹ سینٹرز فعال ہیں جبکہ مزید چار سے پانچ مراکز بھی قائم کیے جا رہے ہیں۔

A 42-year-old driver’s life was saved thanks to timely injection, Alhamdolillah! As soon as he experienced symptoms of a stroke, he was rushed to a nearby stroke centre, where he was administered TNK, a life-saving injection that dissolves blood clots when given within the critical treatment window.
Worth PKR 300,000–400,000 per dose, this life-saving injection is now available completely free of cost at all 40 operational stroke centres across Punjab, ensuring that timely treatment is accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial means.
It was a great relief to see the patient recovering well and on his way to resuming his normal life. This is the true impact of accessible, timely healthcare: saving lives, preventing disability, and restoring hope for families.
Insha’Allah, no one in Punjab will be denied life-saving treatment because of a lack of resources.

Today on World Stroke Day at PNS, seeing stroke patients recover through advanced care was deeply emotional. We have expanded our network from just 12 primary stroke centres to 40 operational centres across Punjab, with 17 more underway, ensuring life-saving TNK injections (worth PKR 3-4 lacs each) are provided completely free to the common man.
TNK is life if administered within the golden 4.5 hours and saves not only lives but limbs and livelihoods. We’ve also scaled up to 3 comprehensive stroke centres (with 4 more underway in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, and Faisalabad) performing advanced thrombectomies.
We are establishing Stroke and Cardiac centres in every district, and Cancer and Paediatric hospitals in every Divisional HQ. No patient will ever be deprived of treatment due to a lack of funds or facilities. Insha’Allah.

علاج کے لیے آپریشنل مراکز کی تعداد 40 تک پہنچا دی گئی ہے، جبکہ مزید 17 مراکز پر کام جاری ہے۔ ان مراکز میں جان بچانے والے ٹی این کے (TNK) انجیکشنز، جن کی قیمت 3 سے 4 لاکھ روپے فی انجیکشن ہے، عام آدمی کو مکمل طور پر مفت فراہم کیے جا رہے ہیں۔
فالج کی صورت میں اگر ابتدائی ساڑھے چار گھنٹوں (گولڈن آورز) کے اندر ٹی این کے انجیکشن لگا دیا جائے تو یہ زندگی بچانے کے ساتھ ساتھ جسمانی اعضا کو معذوری سے محفوظ رکھنے اور لوگوں کے روزگار و معاش کو برقرار رکھنے میں بھی اہم کردار ادا کرتا ہے۔
ہم نے جدید علاج کی سہولیات میں بھی اضافہ کیا ہے اور اب پنجاب میں فالج کے علاج کے 3 جامع مراکز فعال ہیں، جبکہ مزید 4 مراکز لاہور، راولپنڈی، ملتان اور فیصل آباد میں قائم کیے جا رہے ہیں، جہاں جدید طریقۂ علاج تھرومبیکٹومی کے ذریعے دماغ کی بند شریانوں سے خون کے لوتھڑے نکالنے کی سہولت فراہم کی جائے گی۔
ہم ہر ضلع میں فالج اور امراضِ قلب کے علاج کے مراکز، جبکہ ہر ڈویژنل ہیڈکوارٹر میں کینسر اور بچوں کے علاج کے لیے اسپتال قائم کر رہے ہیں۔
کوئی بھی مریض وسائل کی کمی یا علاج کی سہولیات نہ ہونے کے باعث علاج سے محروم نہیں رہے گا۔ ان شاء اللہ!!

ہم تو چاہتے ہیں کہ اب بھی ہندوستان میں عمران نیازی جیسا ایک فسادی، دروغ گو، بدزبان اور نالائق ترین بندہ وزیراعظم بنے۔ کیونکہ بادئ النظر میں بہت زیادہ امکان ہوگا کہ وہ ہندوستان کو اس سےزیادہ نقصان پہنچائے گا جتنا اس نے پاکستانی سیاست، پاکستانی معاشرت اور پاکستانی معیشت کو پہنچایا۔

What we have already decided
We speak of the future as if it were open. This map suggests otherwise.
The children on it were under five when they were measured. In the 2040s they will run our farms, offices and factories; in the 2060s they will be the parents and taxpayers on whom an ageing country leans. Two in five of them are stunted. Whatever we choose to do now, for them this part of the future has already been decided, before they could choose anything.
A child’s height at two is a kind of ledger. It records, with no possibility of appeal, whether her mother ate, whether the water was clean, whether someone helped when she had diarrhoea, whether anyone thought she mattered enough to reach. The ledger in Gujrat reads one way. In Thatta it reads another. In Haripur and Kohistan, a hundred and fifty kilometres apart, the same province records two different countries.
We like to believe this is history, or geography, or poverty, things that happen to us. But the greenest districts were never the richest land. They were the places where girls went to school, where men found work beyond the village, where the state and the market arrived. The map is not a record of what nature gave us. It is a record of whom we chose to reach.
We are a society that discounts the future heavily. We defer, we borrow, we promise. But children cannot be deferred. The first thousand days do not wait for a better budget year.
Somewhere in Jamshoro a girl stunted in 2018 will be a mother by 2045. What we failed to give her, she will not be able to give her child.
The question this map asks is not about them. It is about us.
