I couldn't leave Thomas on his own, I had to make him a friend! Like Thomas I made Henry using as many of the original methods as I could. He's got a proper Marklin chassis (converted for DC operation) and has a working eye mech.
This is a replica I've wanted to do for years so I'm happy to have finally (almost) finished my replica of Thomas the Tank Engine. The models in Thomas were a big inspiration to me growing up so I built my replica using as many of the original materials and techniques as I could.

It was lovely to see people at the BFI last week. I just want to thank those who comforted me when I broke down in tears. Grief is a horrible thing, and can be worse with a lot of alcohol. So thank you for helping me and sorry for embarrassing myself. Here’s a nice pic anyway:

Thank you for your #SundayQuiz guesses! The specific answer is this stunning #Silurian mask, made by Marley and Amelia in this photo, for the #DrWho #WarriorsOfTheDeep blu-ray re-edited version. I'll also reward any more general 'mask' guesses too! Thank you for playing along!

The wonderful Adventures in Space & Time, Unofficial Doctor Who Exhibition at Peterborough Museum has come to an end. It was a truly unique collection of exhibits, and I was proud to be part of it. Wonderful to collaborate with many fine, talented folk, including @AMHmakes ☺️

Made some temporary faces and pupils for Percy. The faces are resin prints of scans from @ThomasModeller, the pupils are hole punched out of some random black vinyl I had.

@BedfordWho Charity Con 10 was a great success today, and a pleasure as always to be a part of.
Displaying as @CoM_Exhibits, teaming up with @faeleryn and @AMHmakes of AMFX. This year was a display of screen used, production made, or from original mould pieces.

"The outcome is certain. The ape primitives are no match for my warriors. They will be crushed"
Another one of those out of the blue props today is a screen used Sea devil helmet, from the serial Warriors of the Deep. Used by the leader Sauvix, for at least all of part 3.
