Review coming later, but preliminary thoughts on DIGGER: While there are some critiques I understand, appreciate, and take seriously, I think a lot of critics (especially American ones) are coming away feeling attacked. The claims of didacticism are extremely overblown.

Greggs and Tomelettes@waystarbobco8h
When people talk about Korean directors in their reviews, do they use the family surname (like Park or Lee) or do they go with the first names?

All of them, but especially:
cinesthetic.
@TheCinesthetic15h
What’s a sex scene that was genuinely essential to the story, revealing something about the characters or changing the course of the plot, rather than just being there for the sake of it?

British heterosexuality is all about being disgusted by very ideas of sex, love, and romance, and despising and wishing death on your spouse every waking moment from the moment you're married until one of you dies.

Impressive moment where the villain of the day isn't a (typically trans) woman
