I know I didn't really catch the moment to delve deep into this score when it came out, but reading these insights so many months later, I'm still completely enthralled. It's seriously such a milestone of modern television.

Now that #RingsOfPower Season 2 has concluded, it's time to once and for all determine what this mystery theme is about.
I've got my gripes with people taking these Miyazaki quotes out of context too, but it's extremely wishful thinking to believe he wouldn't be just as (if not more) repulsed by generative AI Ghibli filters.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of God of War, I encourage you to watch my love-letter to the music of the original Greek Saga (link below). Learn how Kratos' journey was foretold in the epic music of @GKMarino, @MonarchAudio, Mike Reagan, Ron Fish, @winphillips and Jeff Rona
I really can't overstate how thankful I am to these composers, not just for making such an epic, yet sensitive score, but for sitting down and sharing their thoughts and insights with me to make this video possible.

My interview with Stephen Gallagher about his score for The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim is up on YouTube. We had a lot of fun uncovering its deeper secrets, including a little Istar egg?

Weird privilege of knowing Swedish Youtubers is getting to participate in a choir being shot at with paintball pellets to produce a symphony of agonizing screams.
...Did I say privilege?

I'm happy to say The War of the Rohirrim was great, and the music was a perfect complement to it. I've booked an interview with Stephen Gallagher later this week, which I'll put up on YouTube ASAP.
What questions would you like me to ask?
